Chapter 23
Phana drove in silence. Ming stole glances once in awhile to him. They were now going back to their condo after the party.
Mrs Kongthanin had asked them to stay the night at the Kongthanins residence, but Phana refused. He could see his sisters' sinister grins were replaced by pouting lips.
Phana knew they were planning something ridiculous and he didn't want Ming to feel uncomfortable because of his sisters. So, he chose to go back to their own respective condo.
Ming only followed wherever he wanted to spend the night. It didn't matter as long as he could be with Phana.
Even if Phana was giving him cold shoulder out of the blue. Ming had no idea what happened. Phana said he did nothing wrong, so maybe it was one of Phana's mood swings.
Maybe he was coming too strong to Phana. Phana didn't like any kind of skinship in the first place. So, kissing in public might be too much for an ice prince like him.
Ming wanted the world to know they were husbands. For the whole one year. At least, no one would dare to make a move to Phana if Ming tagged him publicly. That's what he thought.
But if Phana didn't like it that way, Ming should compromise, right? He didn't own Phana other than on a piece of paper. He never owned the most important thing anyway, Phana's heart.
Ming bit his trembling lips to surpress the pain all over his body. His hands were shaking too. It was a good thing Phana was the one driving.
Phana finally caught Ming who were kept glancing at him. "Something's on my face?" He broke the silence.
It was the first time Phana talked to Ming after he left Phana's room. Ming silently sighed in relief.
Ming smiled thinly as he shook his head weakly.
Phana's hand reached Ming's thigh, "You're unusually mute now, Ming."
"No I'm just tired.." Ming replied.
"Yeah? Good thing we're coming home, then." Phana said as he was smiling thinking how they both would lose sleep having his two evil sisters lurking around the house.
"Why?" Ming finally shifted his head to Phana after looking at Phana's hand on his thigh. Ming was trying to distract himself from the thought of eating Phana right now.
"My sisters are both big pranksters and seemed like they were both planning to disturb us all night long." Phana explained.
"Really? I thought we would be the ones disturbing them with the heavenly moans of yours!" Ming teased Phana cheekily.
He earned a light punch on his thigh. Ming laughed while Phana was pouting.
They soon arrived at their condo. As soon as they got into their unit, Phana and Ming jumped at the couch in the living room. They were dead tired after hustling for a whole week.
Phana was already closing his eyes, when Ming stood up and said he was going to take shower first. Phana only nodded, he had no energy left.
Ming freshly stepped out of the shower and his eyes found Phana was slouching on the couch. Definitely an uncomfortable position to sleep.
