Honestly, I had a great time. There was the tiny flaw, but that was all sorted out. And the rest of the day was just as fun. They had dropped me off at the flat, Danny had stayed with the guys, apologising and saying that we can do cookies another time. We better. Shawn was filling out some forms or something, so I threw myself on the sofa and starting watching TV.

“I was thinking you could go back on the Tuesday.” I knew what he was talking about, it would be better too. I love the teachers and the lessons I have on a Tuesday, and it’s one of my shortest days.

“Okay, I can do that.”

“And if it’s too much, just come home okay. The school completely understand.” I nodded, I didn’t want to think about it too much. I knew it was going to be difficult, really fucking difficult. “You know I took this week off?” Nodding again. “They’ve had to move it, I’ll have next week off. I’m sorry, but you know what it’s like in there.”

“Forget it Shawn, we don’t need time off. Save it for a time we need it.” He just shrugged, I guess that means he’ll think about it.

“Danny says he’ll always be on the end of the phone. So don’t stress out.” He continued. “And, if there is an emergency you can call me too.”

“That sounds great. Thanks Shawn.” And I meant it, he really was giving up a lot for me.

“Chicken and chips alright for dinner?” He called from the kitchen.

“Yeah, thanks! Need any help?” I shouted back, walking into the kitchen.

“Sure, can you get the chips out and shove them in the oven?” I nodded, opening the freezer and finally finding the chips. Managing to put them in the oven without burning myself or dropping anything on the floor.

“Can I put on some Coldplay?” I asked randomly, Shawn nodded. I don’t know if he likes them, but I do. I put on one of the live concerts, a favourite of mine. I loved it, and it had always made me happy and sad. Just one of those things. It’s always so relaxing.

“You really like them?” Shawn asked.

“Yeah, who doesn’t? Even if their latest album was pretty shit.” He chuckled at that.

“They are alright, I don’t listen to them much.”

“This will have to change.” I laughed, giving him a hug.

“I bet.”

“Up for a dance?” I asked, he just shrugged. Which means yes. We were dancing and singing when the door opens.

“What the hell?” Danny asked, voice full of laughter.

“Shit!” I shouted, tripping over my own feet and falling to the ground. “You scared me asshole.”
