“Oi!” I shouted. Glen spun around and ran up to me, pulling me into a bear hug.

“Missed ya!” He greeted.

“I missed you too, now let’s get inside.” I laughed, taking one of his bags. I had cut myself again yesterday, hearing Danny in love. It hurt me. He will never and can never love me. And I felt so bad about it. Beyond bad. I let them all down. The boys trusted me, I feel so guilty.

“The boys should be back real soon, I know Danny can’t wait to see you again. He’s just getting sober, not a great past few days.” Glen informed me. I was able to force a smile, with some truth behind it.

“I look forward to it.” I put the bags in the spare room, he was staying round for a night.

“No Jay?” I managed not to wince or flinch at the name. He would just worry if I told him.

“Um, no. He, had, family things to sort out.”

“Right, okay. What do you want to do then?” He asked.

“I dunno. I’m going to do some homework, make yourself at home.” Then I left, locking myself in my room. He didn’t try to stop me, or reply and honestly I was a bit of a bitch. But, I’m struggling and apparently so is Danny, I don’t need to worry the guys anymore. I found my own way to deal with it. Only one cut this time, it was less traumatic today, less pain to get rid of. And I even started an essay.

“AMY! Open the door!” Glen shouted. I jumped up, must have fallen asleep. Oops. I quickly glanced around, hid the knife and made sure there was no visible blood, before stumbling to the door.

“Sorry, I fell asleep.” I mumbled.

“You scared me, I overreacted though. Dinner is ready, Shawn just set everything out.” He reported, already heading to the table.

“I’ll be through in a minute.” I made sure the cuts weren’t visible, that would be an awkward conversation. I grabbed some drinks from the fridge and put them on the table, giving Shawn a hug. “Sorry.”

“Its fine, you’ve been looking tired recently. I’m glad you caught up on your sleep.” Shawn smiled, I hate the fact they are always so nice. I feel so guilty, I should tell them. But I can’t bring myself to do it.

“Anything interesting coming up in school?” Glen asked as I sat down. Pizza. Yes!

“Not really, just school. I was wondering if Susan could pop round tomorrow?”

“Monday… Yeah, that should be fine. But, I have to fly out to America. I hate to leave you here alone. I promised my Dad I’d go out and see him, I’m flyin out on Wednesday.” Shawn replied.
