I woke up slowly, the sun shining in my eyes. It must be early. I was still pressed against Dan, who had fallen asleep as well. He looked adorable, his head had fallen back and his hair was all sticking up. His glasses had fallen off at some point and his arms were wrapped around me. After looking at him for a while I managed to grab my phone. It was already 9, Dan needs to go to the hospital today so he needs to get his lazy ass up.

“Dan, wake up.” I shook him gently, eventually he started moving. Stretching out his arms and yawning.

“What is it?” He asked sleepily.

“It’s 9 baby, you need to get up.” I informed him.

“Let’s just stay here.” He decided, laying his head back again.

“Not today buddy.” I jumped up, pulling him up with me.

“You are a mean person.” He complained as he went off to get changed.

“You love me anyway.” I laughed, following after him. “We have to head to the hospital today.” I heard his sigh, he wasn’t wild about this. But it has to be done.

“Alright babe.” He agreed eventually. “I don’t have any food in the house, McDonald’s breakfast fine with you?” I just smiled at him. “Of course it is.” He chuckled, shaking his head fondly.

“Let’s go then.” I threw on a jacket and pulled on some van style shoes. Dan looked awesome as usual, he just throws things on sometimes and still looks fabulous. He grabbed my hand and walked outside with me.

“I’ll try okay.” He announced.

“What?” I was pretty confused, not gunna lie.

“I’ll try today, not to get too angry, to give them a chance to fix this.” He clarified.

“Oh Dan, I am doing this for you babe. You’ll regret falling out with them one day.” I pulled him a little closer, he kissed the top of my head.

“I know. You’re always right.”

“Always seems slightly extreme.” I laughed.

“Really? I don’t know.” He teased.

“Zip it Danno. You know I’m rarely right.”

“Hey! You are supposed to accept compliments, not deny them.”

“Shut up.” I punched him playfully, which quickly turned into a poke fight. We looked like two lunatics; laughing and lunging at each other, screaming and shouting playfully. Some people took photos, a few maybe even took videos, but we didn’t care. We were having fun, my face hurt thanks to the smile on my face. We only stopped when we reached the McDonalds, taking some time to compose ourselves before heading in.
