Shawn had beat us back to the house, so when me and Danny walked in hand in hand he just smiled.

“You two finally together?” He asked, my mouth dropped open. Apparently I was the only one who hadn’t realised before Danny’s confession. Or Glen’s confession on Danny’s behalf.

“We are indeed.” Danny beamed, leaning in to kiss my cheek. It’s crazy how quickly he got over the anger he had felt, I honestly thought he was going to knock Jay out. But, he didn’t and now he’s like a little kid again.

“That was really sweet what you did last night.” I told him, remembering the song he had sung on TV.

“Ah, that was nothing. I didn’t even know you were awake at that point.” He sent a glare towards Glen, earning an elbow in the ribs from me.

“I asked him not to tell you.” I informed him.

“Why?” He looked a little hurt, I guess I can see why.

“Because then you wouldn’t have made your TV appearance and you need a job.” I pointed out.

“I guess.” He agreed, pulling me onto the sofa next to him.

“Oi, love birds can move up so us normal people can sit down!” Mark chuckled as he entered the flat. Danny just smiled more, pulling me onto his lap. I let out a squeal because it surprised me, which just made everyone else laugh. I wriggled around trying to get comfortable, finally settling down.

“Thanks for everything guys.” I looked around at my crazy new family, and the amazingly talented boyfriend I had somehow managed to steal.

“Hey, we’d do anything for ya.” Glen announced from the chair he’d dragged into the room.

“Definitely.” Shawn agreed. I turned to look at Danny to find he had fallen asleep. The little cutie, I let out a little laugh.

“Ah, isn’t he adorable.” I giggled.

“He’s barely slept these past few days you know, this is probably good for him.” Mark told us, reminding me of the stress I put them all through.

“Will he blame himself?” I was more thinking out loud than looking for an answer, but my eyes made their way to Glen. He seemed to be the agony aunt, or agony uncle I suppose, and he always seems to have some words of wisdom or the answer to all our problems.

“He already does.” He confessed quietly, I let out a small sigh. It wasn’t his fault though, it just happened to be a combination of events, some of which involved him. I would never blame him and I just don’t see why he would blame himself. Maybe if we are together he’ll forgive himself. “But, he did last time too. He’ll come round. He always does. His love for you is stronger than anything else right now.” I couldn’t help but smile. Who would have thought? Me and Danny O’Donoghue, madly in love. Did I say madly? Well, I guess we are. I lay back against his chest, his arm which was loosely placed around my waist tightened slightly, pulling me a little closer.
