Chapter 70

“Bye Shawn.” I pulled him into a tight hug.

“Don’t go making trouble and you better call me.” He demanded.

“I will Shawn. I’ll miss you bro.” We both smiled sadly.

“Go on, the boys might leave without you.” He said finally, I gave him one last hug before turning to find Dan.

“You ready?” He asked.

“It’s now or never.” I smiled at him, taking his hand as we walked to the gates.

“You don’t have to come.” He reminded me quietly.

“Dan. I love you. I want to be with you. So shut up.” I laughed.

“Brilliant. This is going to be the best promo tour in the world.” He chuckled.

“Well duh. I’m there.” I joked, he gave me a quick kiss.

“And you have made me the happiest man in the world.” He is still super cheesy. But you can’t help but love him. We took out seats on the plane, Mark and Glen were sat on the row in front of us.

“Finally. Thought we were leaving without you.” Mark sighed, rolling his eyes.

“Like I would let that happen.” Dan replied, rolling his eyes.

“God, I didn’t think you two could get more in love and cheesy. I was wrong.” Mark muttered.

“And you get to share a bus with us.” I pointed out, he just glared at us.

“It’s okay, we’ll try and keep the noise down.” Dan joined in.

“We can sure try, but Danny is very… expressive.” I couldn’t carry on, I just burst out laughing with Dan joining me. Mark turned away from us, but I saw the hint of a smile. Glen was sniggering away but didn’t get involved.

“Expressive? Really?” Dan raised an eyebrow.

“Shut it O’Donoghue, I couldn’t think of anything else to say.” He just smiled at me.

“Yeah, yeah. If you say so. This tour is going to be great, there will be no escaping me.” He chuckled.

“One that sounded really creepy and two there will be no hiding anything from each other.” I pointed out.

“You got that right, a real test of our relationship.” He agreed.

“Ah. We can do it Dan.” I smiled and I meant it, I have never been more sure of something, more confident than in this moment. One thing has been made painfully clear with Dan, some people are just made for each other. Luckily for me. Dan’s my man.
