“You are fucking kidding me?” Shawn just glared at me, of course he did.

“They have been struggling too.” He tried.

“Urm, have they even tried to talk to me since it happened. Why would you invite them? I don’t want them here!” Wondering what this is about? Apparently my Auntie and that lot are coming down, suddenly feeling the need to talk to me. Just when I’d made some improvements, they have to show up. Well fine.

“Don’t be so harsh, they feel sorry for you.”

“Oh lucky me!” Sarcasm, my best friend. “I don’t need their fucking sympathy, I’m happy where I am. I don’t need them to show up.”

“Please, they want to talk. At the funeral you could barely do anything or talk to anyone, in their defence we haven’t exactly kept them up to date.” Damn his logic. I had kinda kept them out of the loop.

“Fine.” I gave in, Shawn sighed in relief. “You do remember though we already have guests.”

“Yeah, they are going to stay in the hotel in town. Dan has a room there, so you could sleep there or come back here.”

“Why would I not come home?” I saw his happy little smile. He pulled me into a hug.

“I’m glad we have finally made it.” I knew exactly what he meant, we had made it so far. From breaking down at the misuse of the word ‘bro’, to having a new family and a new home. One I am honestly happy with. At this point Danny stumbled into the room, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

“Morning hun.” He mumbled.

“Morning sleepy head.” I laughed, he looked a mess. An adorable mess. His hair was all floppy, covering his eyes but he was too lazy to move it. What a cutie.

“What’s so funny?” He was searching through the cupboard for tea.

“You.” I passed him the tea, which was out on the side.

“Thanks. Why am I funny?”

“Because you are such a cutie.” I leant over and brushed the hair from his eyes.

“Right.” He continued making his tea, he wouldn’t be properly awake until he’s had it.

“My Auntie is coming down apparently.” I informed him.

“Right.” He nodded, taking it in. “Wait, what?” He looked confused.

“My Auntie, Uncle, cousins. I couldn’t live with them or something. And it was easier for me to stay.” I reminded him. He nodded this time, seeming to actually get it.

“Cool.” I took out a breakfast bar and went to watch TV. When Dan came in with his breakfast he placed a glass of orange juice infront of me.
