Dan held me tight, pressing kisses to my neck.
“You’ll be fine, just be yourself and they’ll love you.” He assured me, I nodded, wanting to believe him. “I think it’s the shoes, the shoes complete the look. I mean, imagine if we hadn’t picked these ones up, it would have ruined the whole look.” He said randomly, making me laugh.
“You are an idiot.” I smiled, glancing at my feet. They were pretty cute, I’ll admit I am pleasantly surprised at Dan’s fashion skills.
“But I’m your idiot.” He stated proudly, kissing my cheek. I turned slightly, pressing my lips against his.
“Oi lovebirds! We are on!” Glen shouted, making us pull apart.
“You look perfect, let’s go.” Dan reassured me, holding my hand and pulling me along behind him. I took a breath before heading out, Dan moved his arm to wrap around my waist. Allowing us to be even closer, it made me feel safe and protected. These boys have my back no matter what.
“Now our next guests were on here a little while ago, we are about to welcome The Script to the sofa. But, if you all remember Danny mentioned a little love interest, well he brought her along too. Wanna meet them all?” Alan asked, the crowd cheered, our cue to leave. Dan led me out there, waving with his free hand.
“Hi guys.” He greeted everyone, shaking Alan’s hand. “Good to see you again.”
“So, is this our mystery girl?” Alan asked.
“This is Amy, my girlfriend.” He introduced me proudly.
“Hey guys.” I smiled nervously, a little wave and shook Alan’s hand. Dan sat back, I did the same, leaning into him.
“This is her first interview so be nice.” Glen warned.
“Yeah, or we will have to beat you up.” Mark added with a laugh.
“Noted.” Alan stated. “You are looking fabulous my dear.” He smiled.
“Thanks Alan, I’ve always been a fan of your show.” I replied, trying not to sound too nervous. He smiled reassuringly and Dan placed his hand on my shoulder, giving it a little squeeze.
“As much as I’d love to sit and chat darling, I should really ask some questions. So, you two have been all over the papers recently, how do you feel about that?”
“Honestly, a lot of what is being said is shit.” Dan began.
“They are making up stories out of nothing, saying absolutely unbelievable things. Just to set things straight, Dan is the perfect gentleman and would never force anyone to do anything. I love him with all my heart, I want to be with him and there is nothing false or forced about it.” I continued, Dan gave me a pure and honest smile.
“As my perfect girl says no one here is forced into anything, we found each other and the friendship developed from there. We were in love, we are in love and we will always be in love. She is the one, I can just feel it.” He beamed, leaning in to kiss me softly.
