Narrator's POV

It's been a week since Lauren's bullying got exposed to the whole school.

Despite the raven-haired girl begging her sisters, and eventually her parents, to just drop it, they still reported it to the principal and demanded a good enough solution for this. And since it's unclear who the bullies were and Lauren's being too scared to snitch anyone, the entire cheerleader team ended up getting punished for it.

It really wasn't that severe of a punishment, just a full week of detention and that was it.

And of course, everyone was forced to delete the video and if they didn't and the school finds out about it somehow, they're gonna get into a hell lot of trouble. The students really didn't dare to push their luck, so they all just complied.

Today was the first day the cheerleaders had their freedom again.

Y/N watched carefully as the cheerleaders made their way into the cafeteria. They really looked like they were ready to murder someone and Y/N was 50% sure she was gonna be the victim. The other 50% was bet on Lauren.

Suddenly, someone jabbed her in her sides, trying to get her attention. She just hummed in response as she continued to look at the cheerleaders.

"Mani and the rest of her minions are glaring really hard at you right now. What did you do?" Dinah whispered. Their gazes boring at their table was sending her chills, and that's saying a lot cause she's hardly scared of anyone.

"Just let them glare."

Green-eyed Lauren, who was sitting on her other side, tugged on her sleeve. "Uhm, I think she's coming over here," she observed with a gulp.

Even though they were all friends before, the looks Normani is sending her right now was definitely nowhere near friendly.

And as Lauren said not even a second ago, Normani stalked her way over to her old table and hovered over it dangerously. "Are you the one who fucking told the principal?"

"Why would you think that, Mani?" Dinah asked as she tried to calm her down.

That just earned her another glare in return. Normani pointed a finger at Y/N accusingly. "Because apparently, she really likes to mind someone else's fucking business."

"If you haven't done anything wrong, no one will have anything to tell the principal either," the Y/E/C-eyed girl fired back.

"So you're admitting that you're the one who snitched," Normani stated rather than asked.

Y/N looked at her friend, ridiculed. "I never said that."

"Okay, then it's Cimorelli," the dark-skinned girl concluded. "She's gonna--"

"Don't be stupid, Hamilton. You posted that fucking video for the whole school to see, are you really expecting the principal to just cross his arms and watch shit go down with some popcorn?"

"Yes?"

Their school never gave a fuck about bullying and all. It's always been around and it's not like the teachers didn't know of it. Usually, they'd try to talk it out and if that doesn't work, then they'll just drop it.

Y/N didn't get anything to say to that so she just clenched her jaw.

"Watch out if I were you." Normani shot her one last glance before walking away with her friends.
