Narrator's POV
Y/N placed her hand on the handle, but before she's even pushed down on it, the door already slid open a little. She peeked inside and was ready to announce her presence but stopped at her girlfriend's voice.
"Don't you ever post about my personal life on my account again, please," Lisa said annoyed as she leaned against the wall. Her guess was really right, it was her manager that's posted that picture of them kissing on the piano bench on her Instagram. And not too surprisingly, her manager decided to drop by today.
Mary just gave her an innocent smile in return. "I'm just doing what's best for you guys. Have you seen how much your sales and following have shot up in just three days? And it's all just because of some pictures."
Lisa frowned hard at her manager's words, taking full offense of what she just said. "Shouldn't you at least discuss it with us first?"
"You've managed to make her confirm your relationship on her account too though, so why are you getting mad at me for doing the exact same thing as you?"
"What kinda bullshit is this?"
"This is part of what you signed up for when you signed your contract." Her manager smiled at her again and went to pace around in the room. "You should go out with her more. It's gonna--"
"Hey, Y/N, we need some help with your laptop," Amy said from behind.
The music producer quickly shut the door again and dragged the shorter girl out of there. She didn't want them to know she was eavesdropping, not that she was actually doing it on purpose or anything. Luckily, Amy's voice wasn't loud enough to alarm them about it, so she should be good. She brought them back to the studio and assisted the sisters in whatever problem they've bumped into with her electronics.
What she's overheard hadn't left her mind this entire time. It's not that hard for her to figure out that that post was their manager's doing either, but she really hadn't thought that deep into it. Lisa did seem pissed about it though, so... she wouldn't really try to use her for her fame too, right?
Suddenly, the door to the studio bursted open, followed by Lisa storming inside. She angrily went to sit down on the chair next to Y/N. If you have somewhat of a good imagination, you'd probably be able to picture the smoke steaming out of her ears with how angry she looked. Y/N rolled her chair closer towards Lisa and placed a comforting hand on her knee. "You don't look very happy," she stated as a matter of fact.
Lisa turned to look at her. The anger slowly bubbled down the moment she locked eyes with those Y/E/C-colored ones. "Mary was just being a bitch."
Immediately, the other sisters who were also present in the room let out a choked cough. They weren't expecting the blue-haired sister to casually describe their manager with that word, but they decided to keep their mouths shut and not fuel her even more.
Y/N scooted closer to her girlfriend and pulled her in a side hug before kissing the side of her head. "Calm down, smurf. Wanna tell us what happened?"
"Smurf?" Lisa asked amusedly, feeling more and more calmed down now.
The Y/E/C-eyed girl gave her a half-shrug. "I feel like 'blue hair' was starting to get boring, so I wanted to be more creative on the nickname."
"Because smurf is really so much more creative," the blue-haired girl teased and leaned in closer to her with her face.
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes at her. "Oh shut up," she said as she pushed Lisa away from her. "But for real though, what did you guys talk about that's got you so heated?" she asked. Even though she knew half of it already, she wanted to hear her tell her about it.
