Chapter 45 - "Not that question again"

Narrator's POV

"Did you sleepover here last night?" Dani asked with a wiggle of her eyebrows. She's actually 100% sure she did because Lisa hadn't come back to the hotel last night and as far as she knows, her sister didn't know anyone else here in LA that would let her crash at their place without notifying. "Did you have fun?"

Lisa looked at her sister weirdly at how suggestive she's being. "Yup, we had soooo much fun. You have no idea."

Amy moved to sit with them and looked highly interested too. "What did you guys do?"

Their sister has been really secretive at what happened last night, so naturally everyone is super curious. They've been stuck in the studio all day and with Y/N being in the same room, they just didn't feel comfortable interrogating Lisa. It was now after dinner and even though they would've rather ask her all about it back in their hotel, they kinda doubted they'll still be up by the time Lisa comes back, and well, Dani was running out of patience.

"We were just making music," the blue-haired sister said shyly. She wasn't lying though, they were working on music for the majority of the evening.

Dani leaned in closer to her and pointed at her rosy cheeks. "Yeah, that's why you're blushing right now." Her eyes lit up at a possible thought crossing her mind. "Did you guys kiss?"

Lisa started blushing even harder before clearing her throat. "Danielle, annoy me later, I'm trying to get some work done here," she said as she turned back to her laptop.

Amy and Dani looked at each other and huffed as they walked back to the rest.

Not even a minute later, Lisa felt someone settling down on the chair next to her again. She was ready to tell whoever it is that she's not gonna say anything,  but paused once she saw who it was. She furrowed her eyebrows at her sister and shook her head a little. "Don't tell me you're here to ask about last night too."

"Did you guys really kiss?" Lauren asked with a small smirk.

Lisa face-palmed herself. "Dani," she sighed out. She can't believe that she went and told everyone that even if she hadn't even commented on it.

Lauren raised her eyebrows and let out a chuckle. "You're not denying it, so you really did," she confirmed for herself. "Wow, I was so convinced that Dani was just bluffing."

The blue-haired girl blushed again as she carefully looked over to her. "Are you okay with that? L-like, no hard feelings?"

The younger sister smiled softly at her before pulling her in for a hug. "I genuinely feel happy for you. I just want you to be happy too, and so yeah, I'm okay with all of this." Not gonna lie, she's expected herself to feel really hurt over this, but seeing the glow on both Lisa and Y/N's faces... she actually felt happy for them. She can see how the two of them completes each other, so even though she had to break her own heart for it, it felt worth it.

"Isn't it funny how the tables have turned?" Lisa said after a while as she pulled away from the hug. "I remember prepping you for your first date and you kept asking me if I was fine with all of that or not."

Lauren nodded and let out another chuckle. "You were so in denial back then, and look at you now. I'm proud of you."

"Why do you sound like the older sister here?" Lisa joked with a smile. She's so glad about how supportive Lauren was being.

The younger sister flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Well, maybe that's because I'm the more mature one out of the two," she said before bursting out laughing.

Suddenly, someone clapped their hands together, grabbing everyone's attention in this very studio. "Alright guys, I think we should just call it a night, cause everyone is distracted anyway," Y/N announced loudly. She's been kinda staring at Lisa the whole time, and she's really noticed how everyone was taking turns bugging her, and she highly doubted they'll get any work done this way.
