Narrator's POV

The doorbell rang, blaring through the quiet mansion.

Y/N jumped up from the couch and practically tripped her way over to the front door. Today was the day they've scheduled to work on some music, and since the Y/E/C-eyed girl had her own studio built in her house, they just decided to work there instead of renting some studio.

Two of the Cimorelli's wasn't really digging that idea, but then again, renting a studio for a couple of hours here in Los Angeles can turn out pretty expensive, so...

The music producer swung the door open and was surprised to see Lisa standing there on the other side, alone. "Hi."

Lisa furrowed her eyebrows at her reaction and immediately got a not so good gut feeling. "Please don't tell me I'm the first one that's arrived."

"Well, lucky you, you really are," Y/N said as she walked back to her couch again, leaving the door wide open for the other girl to come in.

Lisa carefully slipped into the house and closed the door behind her. Taking in her surroundings, she was really surprised to see how modern and... enormous her house was. She knew that the Y/E/C-eyed girl was doing well by what Mary had told her, but she didn't know she was actually doing that well.

"If you want something to eat or drink, the kitchen is there," Y/N called out, her hand hanging in the air and pointing in some direction.

The blue-haired girl really didn't feel like roaming around her house and grabbing food from her kitchen, so she just awkwardly went to the couch to join her.

And then the awkward silence filled the air again.

"Y/N..." Lisa hesitatingly mumbled. The girl hummed in response but didn't bother to actually stop scrolling through her phone. Sighing to herself, she still continued with what she was gonna say. "I know this could be a lot to ask for, but please don't tell anything that's happened to my sisters."

That seemed to catch Y/N's attention. She dropped the phone she was holding on her lap and turned to look at her. "Why? Is it some big secret or something?"

"I just..." she struggled to find the right words to say. Actually, she did know the right words but she just still didn't want to admit things about her sexuality out loud. "Just don't tell them, please."

"Be more specific. What should I not tell them?" Y/N asked as she cocked her head to one side. "The fact that you've fucked with my feelings for an entire year? That you like me? Or that you kissed me when I was with Lauren and ruined our relationship because of it?"

"All of it," Lisa said embarrassed.

Y/N studied her for a second before nodding her head and returning her attention back on her phone. "M'kay."

She knew she was on thin ice with the Y/E/C-eyed girl already, so she didn't dare to push her further for any confirmation and just left it as it is.

"So uhm... you've... grown a lot since high school...?" Lisa said to fill up the awkward silence between them.

The music producer dropped her phone again and sighed. "You know that we're not forced to talk to each other, right?"

"I know," the blue-haired girl said. But I want to.

Y/N shifted around on her couch and turned to sit facing her completely. "Well, and your hair looks a lot bluer than the last time I saw you."

Lisa raised her eyebrows. "I thought you didn't wanna talk."
