Chapter 42 - Spilled beans

Narrator's POV

"I'll take it from here. Thanks, Danielle."

Y/N didn't know whether she feels glad or regret coming out of that recording booth at that right timing. Since the booth was soundproof, she had no clue that Christina, Katherine and Amy were attacking the youngest sister for answers. She was only just in the time to hear them asking her about who kissed who first, and her gut feeling told her that they won't be happy to hear Lisa's name as the answer.

Dani let out a sigh of relief and immediately crawled away from the corner her sisters had pushed her into. Actually, instead of staying here, maybe it's a better idea to check up on Lauren, so she just went to do that. She took one last glance at Y/N and her sisters and shuddered at the possibilities of how that conversation is gonna turn out. Luckily she doesn't have to part of that anymore.

Since Lisa was still in the recording booth and Lauren and Dani weren't here either, Y/N was the only one that knows the truth. So... she can twist the story however she wants. 

"You're already on my last nerve, so you better start talking now," Christina demanded. 

Y/N took a deep breath and mentally ran the answer through her mind. Okay, fuck it. "I kissed her. It was the night Lauren and I got official and... I noticed that Lisa was sad during dinner, so I tried to talk to her afterward. And I just ended up kissing her," she lied. 

"Wait, so let me get this straight," Katherine started very calmly. "You went on, like, a thousand dates with Lauren. And then you just went and kissed Lisa. And later in that exact same night, you made it official with Lauren."

"I-uh... yeah."

I mean, it sounds kind of really fucked up right now. But that's because the part where it's actually Lisa who was the one who kissed her is currently being left out. Plus the fact that she did end up pushing her away and telling her off. 

"Wow, I am so disappointed at you. I can't believe you would do that to Lauren. What the heck is even wrong with you, Lisa is her sister. Out of everyone in this entire world, why her?" the tallest sister lashed out. This was a side of Katherine that no one has seen before, but then again, no one had ever done what Y/N had supposedly done. "How did Lisa even react?"

Y/N backed away further into the wall and turned her head away. "She-- Of course she didn't kiss me back. She just pushed me away and reminded me that I was with her sister."

"I can't fucking believe you. So you really just forced yourself on Lisa when she was vulnerable while you were dating Lauren?!" Christina screamed at her.

According to this fake narrative of Y/N's, that's kinda really what she did yeah.

Before the Y/E/C-eyed girl could answer that rhetorical question, Christina and Katherine both readied themselves to actually slap her. Not only did this girl broke one of their sister's heart, she also tried to take advantage of their other sister when she was crying.

Y/N should be pretty proud of herself. Up until now she's got four out of six of the sisters to cuss at her, even though they have specifically said that they never curse. And she got nice, sweet little Katherine to scream at her and wanna beat her up, together with Christina. Really, not a lot of people can do that.

Just before the two oldest sisters could lay their hands on the Y/E/C-eyed girl and teach her a lesson, they got stopped by two voices appearing at the same time.

"Stop!" "Don't."

Oh, fuck.

And there they were, Lisa was standing there by the door of the recording booth and Lauren was by the entrance of the studio. Both having overheard everything, and both had tears in their eyes.
