Narrator's POV
It's been two weeks since the party had happened.
And in these past two weeks, both Y/N and Lauren were actively avoiding each other. It wasn't like that was hard either because they share none of their classes and they don't share the same friend group.
As for Lisa, well, she was already keeping her distance with Y/N before the party happened, and that hasn't really changed. Except well, maybe she's trying to avoid her harder than ever before, but it wasn't like that was noticeable for the Y/E/C-eyed girl.
It was now Friday again. Classes just ended. And Y/N was back in the assembly hall, sitting behind the piano. She was here practicing last week too but quite expected, Lauren didn't show up, so she was there on her own all afternoon.
What she didn't know was that Lauren actually did come, but she was just standing by the doorway and quietly spying on her. The raven-haired girl really wanted to come forward, but... yeah, she didn't think she'd have the guts to face Y/N so soon.
So now that another week has passed by, she was standing there behind the door to the assembly hall again. She saw the Y/E/C-eyed girl walk in there, but it's been a while and still no sounds were heard. She carefully peeked around the corner and saw Y/N sitting there on the bench, staring blankly at her phone.
The Y/E/C-eyed girl was just staring at Lauren's contact name, debating really hard whether or not to text her. With a heaved sigh, she put her phone back in her pocket and turned back to the piano instead.
However, in that process, her eyes freely roamed over the empty hall and saw a black shadow on the floor. She quickly shot her gaze up and saw Lauren standing there.
They locked eyes for a moment before the raven-haired girl turned around and speed-walked out of there.
Y/N stood up from the bench and chased after her as fast as possible. There was still a long way to go until she can reach the other girl, so she just stopped in the middle of the hallway. "Can you please stop avoiding me? I'm sorry," she called out loud enough for Lauren to hear.
The younger girl stopped dead in her tracks and gulped. Was that Y/N apologizing for kissing her and admitting that it was a drunk mistake or something? Why else would she be saying sorry to her for? She didn't want it to be true, but she still needs to find out the answer. "Wh-what are you apologizing for?"
"You just seem so hurt and..." Y/N said as she caught up to her till she's standing right behind her. "I don't know what I've done to upset you but I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to."
"Do you remember what happened at the party...?" Lauren asked carefully.
"We kissed, I remember."
"D-do you re... Do you regret it?" Lauren's voice trembled out as she finally turned around to face her, with her head hanging low. "I know you like Lisa, not me. And that night you were drunk, and I don't even think you knew--"
Lauren's rambling got abruptly cut off by a pair of lips pressing against hers, shutting her up in an instant.
At first, the raven-haired girl was too shocked to even function, but once she came back to her senses, she started reciprocating it. She grabbed ahold of Y/N's shirt and pulled her even closer towards her till their bodies were flushed together.
It started just to simply shut Lauren up, but then the Y/E/C-eyed girl tried a little bit further with it, slowly moving her lips against Lauren's in a slow, sensual dance. She didn't dare to go much further than that, but even just this was already making her go weak in the knees with how soft her lips are feeling.
