Chapter 46 - "Hypothetically speaking..."

Narrator's POV

"Wow, it's been so long since I've seen this building..."

"Definitely can't say I missed it," Y/N muttered under her breath as she led the Cimorelli sisters through the entrance.

Never had she ever thought she'd go back to her own high school at her own will, but here they are. Well, technically said it wasn't on her own will. Camila really wasn't kidding when she said her girlfriend really wanted to hang out with her again. Her other high school best friend, Lauren, invited her and the girls to be a guest speaker at school and she wasn't exactly given the option to reject that invitation.

While Dinah and Y/N dived into the music industry, Lauren and Camila both decided to pursue a career in teaching instead and have now become music teachers at their old high school.

On the bright side though, going back here to perform and teach these kids a thing or two can also do them some good. These kids listen to modern music and so, they can easily gain some more fans because of their little trip here. Undeniably, it's great exposure and an easy way to promote their new music. And it's a nice chance to catch up with an old friend, they've only had chance to text because they were both too busy to actually meet up. 

"Oh my God, Y/N/N!"

Green-eyed Lauren immediately ran over to her best friend once she laid her eyes on her. She pulled the music producer in a tight hug and ruffled her hair. "Look at you, being all famous and successful now."

Y/N let out a chuckle as she reciprocated the hug. "Hi, and thanks. You're not too shabby yourself."

Lauren finally let go of the Y/E/C-eyed girl and turned to look at the Cimorelli sisters, who were just awkwardly standing there. "Hi, welcome. How have you guys been?"

They all separately answered for themselves but it all came down to that they've been doing well.

The high school teacher then realized something. "Wait, I've never met you two before. Hey, I'm Lauren Jauregui. I was classmates with Y/N and Amy, and sort of with Lisa." Christina and Katherine took turns shaking the hand that she's stuck out and introduced themselves.

After they've chitchatted enough, they made their way to Lauren's classroom. Their planning was to just talk about music in general and maybe teach the kids a little and then after the lunch break, it's arranged that all the students are going to the assembly hall and that they're gonna perform a little song there.

"Good morning class, today we have some very special guests, Y/N Y/L/N and Cimorelli."

The seven of them walked into the classroom and was met with all the students either dropping their jaw or looking at them in complete awe.

"What the fuck?!" was the first thing that came out among the students after the superstars have entered the classroom.

The music teacher glared at the general direction from where it came from. "No swearing in this classroom, only I can do that."

Y/N smirked at her best friend's reaction before turning to the students. "I like that one, whoever she is," she said nonchalantly, making Lauren glare at her instead. 

And then all hell broke loose.

"Oh my God, can I get an autograph!"

"Can I take a selfie with you guys!"

"I'm such a huge fan of yours. I love your new song! I love you!"

"You guys look so much hotter in real life than on the pictures."
