Chapter Eighty-Five: Visiting

2 months later...

"I don't see why I can't come with you? I've been stuck in this house for months. I just want to be able to go back outside and get fresh air again," I pleaded.

"Look, Lydia. It's for your safety, I would easily have you come with me but it's Sam. He is still out there, and you don't know if he's teamed up," Jungkook said.

"I know but I'll be by your side at every second, I won't leave it, I promise."

Jungkook stared at me for a second and gave in "Fine," he groaned, "But if you leave my side, you won't be out again."

"Thank you!" I ran up to him and gave him a tight hug, he hugged me back and we heard his door open.

"Are you ready to go Jungkook?" Namjoon asked.

"Yeah, we will be taking Lydia, she wants to come-" Namjoon's eyes widened, "You are lucky we are going to his house," he said and left the room.

"Let's go." He walked out of his room as I followed him. I know they are just trying to protect me and not that I'm not grateful, I just really want to get some fresh air, I haven't been out since I went shopping with Beth.

We left the house with Namjoon leading. It was just us three. The rest got ordered to search for Sam like always. I was thrilled to be walking around town again, I mean the town still scared the living shit out of me but I also am getting used to it.

I was excited about going to the man's place. When Namjoon told me there were new people in Dungrove I was nervous, but they have been in and out of the house in meetings with Namjoon.

But the thing is... I never got to meet them, I always got told to go to my room when they arrived.

"Are you okay?" I looked up to see Namjoon looking at me worriedly.

"Yeah, just daydreaming," I laughed it off as we came to a stop.

I looked around as we were in the Victorian side of town where I was chasing Jungkook around in the snow.

We walked up the steps leading us to the front door, Namjoon knocked 3 times and a man opened the door.

"Ah Namjoon, come in, come in." He repeated as he opened the door wider for us all.

"I hope you don't mind, I brought other guests," Namjoon said, pointing to me and Jungkook. "That's okay, we are all in the living room waiting, follow me." He turned around as I looked up to Jungkook, he smiled at me and nodded his head like he was telling me everything is okay.

We walked into the living room as I noticed all 5 of them sitting talking away at each other. The man who opened the door coughed for them to stop talking, "He's here."

Namjoon walked further into the room greeting everyone, while Jungkook and I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do.

"You two, don't be scared come sit down," Namjoon said, patting his hand next to him, I didn't spare another second and quickly sat down for the meeting to start.

"To introduce myself to the other visitors, my name is Noah and I am their leader. Namjoon and I already spoke before as you know, and we are on the good side," he softly chuckled drinking from his glass.

"Over here are my coven members, we are only a small one, you can hopefully introduce yourselves in another hour, but first let's get to this meeting," Noah clapped.

I played with my fingers, I was so nervous.

I looked around and noticed one of Noah's men staring at me, it was like he was analysing me from head to toe. I tried my best not to look at him, but it was impossible, it was like he was trying to look for something in me.

I sat up as my bladder immediately felt like it was going to explode, I quickly tapped Namjoon's shoulder.

"I need to go to the bathroom," I told him, Noah looked up from his work, "It's upstairs to the right, you won't miss it."

I thanked him and quickly got up, I didn't want that man looking at me any longer, it creeped me out. I made it upstairs, as I turned to the right, Noah was right you couldn't miss it.

I walked in and locked the door, I did my business and flushed the toilet then washed my hands, I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed my hair.

I walked out of the bathroom as I quickly had a look around. There was a room next to the bathroom, I glanced at it as something straight away caught my eye.

I slowly walked into the room and made my way over to a bookshelf. I felt my throat close up as I picked up a picture frame and inspected it even more.

"Hey what are you doing in here?"

I gasped and quickly turned around, it was the man who was looking at me downstairs.

"Why do you have a picture of my mum from when she was younger?"

The man's facial expressions couldn't be recognised, it was a mixture of everything.

"Y-Your mum?" He stuttered, I slowly nodded, and he stared at me again slowly walking closer.

Midway he fell onto his knees, still keeping eye contact.

"You can't be."
