Lauren was growing older. You could see a little bit of you and a little bit of Lena in her but you still had no idea how much of a smartass she was getting. You think it's coming from Lena but you couldn't really tell.

You were currently watching TV in the living room when Lauren comes down from her room.

"Mommy? Remember when I killed a butterfly and you had said no butter for a week?"

Pausing the tv to pay more attention to her, you nodded at her question.

"Yes. Why do you ask?"

"And when I killed that honeybee and you said no honey for a week?"

You're tired of her not getting to the point so you rush her along.

"What did you do this time, Lauren?"

"Oh me? Nothing. I just saw mum earlier accidentally kill the stray pussy cat with her car, should I break it to her?"

She asks with a smirk.

All you could do was shake your head and let out a sigh. All you wanted was a normal child. Was that too much to ask for?
