LACEY'S POV:
That was an interesting dream.
I quickly sat up in bed; the clock besides me told me that it's currently five in the morning.
I might as well stay up, I won't go back to sleep.
I quickly jumped up from bed, causing me to almost tip over from dizziness.
I shook it off and walked over to my white dresser and pulled out what I was going to wear, you guessed it, my one piece leather suit.
Except this one is gray, not black.
I set it down on my bed and walked into the hallway to get a towel from a small closet and walked back into my room and into my small, square bathroom.
We couldn't decorate, so it was as plain as plain could get. White walls, tan tile floors, and a marble counter, with a white shower, toilet, and sink.
I really wish I could put up a drawing or something. I mean, I could, but the guards come in every day for a house check.
I sighed and pulled open the glass door to the shower and turned on the water, putting a hand in to see if it was the slightest bit warm.
It was, so I lazily tugged off my clothes and stepped in, letting the water quickly soak my body and drop down into the drain.
I quickly did what I had to do in about twenty minutes; shampooed my hair and washed my body.
I stepped out of the shower, being extremely careful because I once broke my arm getting out of the bathtub, it wasn't fun.
After getting out I wrapped myself and my hair in a towel and watched as dots of water dripped onto the floor of my bathroom.
I tended to wait a good five minutes before changing, I never had anything to think about in those five minutes, but today I did; Luke.
We were so close, the closest we have ever been. Even that up close Luke looked attractive.
Yeah, you could see acne scars and blemishes, but it was as if everything cancelled out.
I don't even know what I'm thinking anymore.
I'm not supposed to feel this way, so I must stop the strange feelings I am feeling.
I shook my head slightly, as if doing so would shake the thoughts out of my head too.
After being completely dry, I changed into my clothes and sat down at my dresser, debating on wether I should leave my hair down or blow dry it and put it up in a bun.
I decided on a braid instead; I blow dried my hair and braided my hair to the side.
After doing so I stood up to examine myself.
I hated how the leather clung on tightly to my body. It showed the world how imperfect I was; I wasn't skinny nor beautiful.
I was medium height, wasn't very curvy, had a flat chest, and brown eyes, which I hated.
I was jealous of the people that had colored eyes, flawless faces, and perfect bodies.
I had bland features, nothing about my face structure screamed unique.
I sighed and walked out my room and into the kitchen.
I walked over to the refrigerator and pulled it open.
Today was third day, or was it fourth day?
I lost count, so I grabbed the plate titled "third day; breakfast."
I like the idea of not having to make my own food and was instead given it.
Refrigerators were refilled once every seven days; people with carts would come by and give us a large box which contained our food for the week.
It made life easier, honestly.
I slowly ate the contents in the plate, which consisted of: pancakes, bacon, and a pouch of milk.
After finishing breakfast I put the plate in the sink, I was too lazy to wash it, I'll wash it once I come back from work.
I had apparently taken forever to get ready and eat, because it was already 5:50.
