LUKE' POV:

It was actually really really cold outside.

I really hoped it would snow this winter, I've never seen snow.

I wanted it to snow but didn't at the same time.

One, hunting and scavenging would probably be harder.

Two, it'd be really cold and we have no way of warming ourselves besides blankets and sweaters.

Calum said he had seen snow once.

I wonder when Calum will come back.

I wonder if he will ever come back.

I made my way past trees and beaten up, useless cars, and into a vacant, empty town.

I always scavenged or went on runs here, it was only about five miles away from home, which came in handy.

I saw shards of broken glass in the middle of the road; that wasn't here last time I came.

Someone was here recently.

I walked around around the glass, making a mental note to keep an eye out.

I smiled to myself a I saw a grocery store across the street, the glass sliding doors that no longer worked were shattered.

Maybe someone was trying to get in, not knowing that there was a back door.

I had already been here multiple times.

I walked inside, examining the many isles that had signs above them, telling me where everything was.

Isle five contained canned goods, well that's my first stop.

(A/N Hehe see what I did there ^^)

I hurriedly walked towards the isle, checking each isle just incase.

I sighed as a saw a few dozen cans on a shelf.

I grabbed what I could, cans weigh a ton when you're carrying them, so I kept it mildly light.

After putting about fifteen cans or so of different kinds of soup into my backpack I made my way towards the pharmacy.

Most of it was gone, except for a few bottles.

I looked over the bottles; Vitamin D3, ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, and many more.

I left the Vitamins and stuffed the ibuprofen, Tylenol, and Advil into my backpack.

(A/N TAKE ME LIKE A VITAMIN ily if you understood that)

I might as well take what we will need in the future.

We needed more blankets, so I walked around, trying to - hopefully - find a blanket, or some source of warmth.

I nightly doubt I'll find a blanket, but hey, it's worth a look.

My hopes slowly dropped as I walked around seeing nothing to keep us warm.

We did have blankets, but with winter coming it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra.

A sight of relief escaped me as I saw a small clothes section.

(A/N I am picturing this as SaveMart idk why and they have a tiny bit of clothes so yeah!)

The blankets were bundled and held together by a ribbon, they were thin ones but there were a few.

I grabbed the three blankets off the shelf and decided to go check the hair product/make up section.

The isle consisted of: make up, gels, hairsprays, shampoos, and body washes.

I grabbed two big bottles of those three in one shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles, one for me and one for Mikey.

I suddenly saw something that caught my eye; a bottle of red hair dye.

Holy crabs (yes I meant to say that) I CANNOT BELIEVE WE'RE AT CHAPTER 25!!!

The interesting stuff hasn't even happened yet *wink* *wink*

Okay I'm really happy for multiple reasons rn

2) I am eating tamales, don't judge me

3) I made cookies today so yay
