LUKE'S POV:
"Hey, Mikey do y-"
Calum frantically pushed off of Michael, licking his lips.
"Uh, sorry," I said and quickly shut the door.
What the hell?
I stood outside the door, confused as hell as I held the doorknob in my hand.
What was that?
I chuckled and made my way towards my room.
Did I really just witness my two best friends full on making out?
I looked around my room, examining the pictures on the walls of my room.
Oh, the stories these pictures held.
~Flashback in italics~
"Oh, my god! Where did you find this?" Katy squealed, pulling me in for a quick kiss.
"I know people," I joked.
"Really Luke, where'd you get it?"
"One of Calum's friends, Mikyla, makes dresses," I explained.
Katy had been wanting some type of dress for the longest time, said she was tired of wearing "boy" clothes.
So I thought why not get her what she wants as a birthday present?
"I love it," she said, wrapping her arms around my waist and squeezing me.
"Glad you liked it," I smiled, planting a small kiss on her head.
It's been two years now, should I tell her?
I'll save it for a better time.
"Ew, stop being cute," I heard a low voice mumble and looked up to see Michael, nose scrunched up as if disgusted.
"Let us be," I chuckled, burying my face into Katy's neck, making her giggle.
"Go 'be' somewhere else," Michael snapped.
"Someone's grumpy," I mumbled, before picking up Katy and walking upstairs with her in my arms.
"Thank you so much Luke," Katy whispered, snuggling into my chest.
"You're welcome," I said, opening the door to the room we shared.
I walked over to our bed, lightly setting her down and climbed in, pulling the covers over ourselves.
Katy quickly got up to put the box, in which I gave her the dress, on the beside table.
"You mean the world to me, you know that right?" She whispered, lying down besides me.
I turned on my side, as was she, so I could be face to face with her.
"You are my world," I said quietly.
She smiled, bringing her hand up to caress my cheek softly whilst still looking into my eyes.
I put my hand on her side underneath the covers, pulling up her shirt just the slightest bit and began tracing random patterns onto the bare skin of her back.
"I don't know where I'd be without you," Katy said.
"I wouldn't be here anymore," I responded.
"Don't say that," she whispered, leaning in and pressing our foreheads together.
"You're the only reason as to why I'm still alive. I think you should know that," I replied, lips brushing Katy's.
She lightly leaned in a bit more, breaking the small space and connecting our lips.
"Goodnight," she whispered and turned around so her back was towards me.
I scooted closer, molding our bodies together and put an arm around her stomach.
I'll never get tired of this.
~End of flashback~
I snapped out of my memory-filled trance when I heard a knock from my door.
"Come in!"
Michael stepped in, face a bright red.
"S-sorry you had to see that," he chuckled nervously.
"Yeah," I said, staring at her backpack in the corner of the room.
It's been sitting there for almost two weeks.
"Were you crying?" Michael asked, sitting down on my bed.
"No," I bluntly said.
I wiped at my cheeks, I was crying apparently.
I didn't even feel the tears well up.
I think I've gotten used to crying so much I no longer feel tears brim my eyes.
