"So we open the doors on three," I suggested. "One, two..."

Then May pressed the button which opened the doors.

"I didn't say three."

The doors shuddered open, revealing the two very famous heroes.

"Hi," I greeted them, "I'm Agent Johnson, this is..."

"Agent May," Black Widow inturrupted. "I don't think we've officially met." She offered her hand which May took and gave a firm shake.

"Hi," I repeated to test whether they knew I was there.

"Hey," Stark replied offering me his own hand.

I smiled and shook it. "Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D., or at least, what's left of it."

"We won't find any H.Y.D.R.A. here will we?" Black Widow asked.

"Nope," I said, popping the p, "this is 100% S.H.I.E.L.D."

"How about any other suprises?" Stark asked, with an eyebrow raised.

I disguised my nervousness with a short laugh. "No." I grinned sheepishly under Black Widow's glare.

"Can we do anything for you?" May butted in, much to my relief.

"Yes actually," she replied. "We're here to inspect the place, Fury's orders."

"Fury is no longer director of S.H.I.E.L.D. He therefore has no jurisdiction here."

"Then who is?" Starks asked.

"Undecided."

"Which is why we're here," Widow finalised before they both stepped inside.

I glanced at May with wide eyes. She gritted her teeth and followed the two Avengers deeper into the compound. I sucked in a deep breath and closed the doors before trailing behind them.

I felt bad yelling at Annabeth but I just couldn't have her there when I retrieved the poison. I feel worse because I promised I would never control it again...but Hazel's life was on the line and I'd be dammed if I didn't do everything in my power to save her. (Ha ha, dammed).

I marched myself towards New Rome purposely. Well, I say marched, but an eyewitness would've said nervously dragged his feet so let's not settle on terminology.

Once I had reached the battlefield I knew we were in trouble. There was at least 100 giant basilisks and the Romans were struggling to hold up. I yelled and ran towards them with the Riptide. Several heads, monster and demigod alike, turned towards me.

I stabbed the first basilisk then rolled under the lunge from the second, bringing up my sword to slice through its neck. "Uh, hey guys," I said with a little wave. I looked around at the carnage spread around me. I decided I need to give them a hand. So I planned to collect the poison, give it to someone to run to the medical bay then use my efforts to help kill all the basilisks. Sadly, there was a little snag in my plan. I had nothing to put the poison in.
