The demigods were in disarray, perfect targets for an attack.
And so, they were slaughtered in the one place that should've been safe.
Tartarus had won this battle. Jason, his right hand man, gathered demigods and led the armies to victory; he'd forgotten who he used to be.
It should've been the end.
But really, it was only half-time.
Tartarus may have won the battle, but there was still a war.
The demigods were angry. They were hungry for revenge.
They'd allied themselves with the mortal heroes and readied for a final battle.
It was the be-all or end-all of the demigods. They should've been terrified.
But vengeance is always a good motivator.
