Alice darted to the bathroom for the 10th morning in a row groaning as she did so. After throwing up she wiped her mouth and brushed her teeth. Fp had been away with Jellybean and Jughead for 2 weeks. They were due back tonight so Alice planned a big surprise. Betty was now finally home she in fact came home a week ago.It turned out Betty had temporary amnesia and she had to go to a special hospital in California whilst her brain recovered but now she has made a full recovery and returned home.Alice had the basement converted into a bedroom for Betty and Jughead. Down their they had their own little space. Their own bathroom. their own tv. Of course their huge queensize bed. The room was perfect snug and cosy. Betty's bedroom was converted into a office with a single bed and sofa in their. Ella's new room was under going decorating where as upstairs in Jelly's room Alice had ordered her a new telescope. The original plan was to convert the loft into 2 bedrooms and have Betty and Jug, Alice and Fp and Ella on the same floor then their was the old office, so the spare room would be upstairs but Alice decided to have a whole extension which meant a study downstairs and a bedroom on the floor her room was on.  Which meant their was 2 spare rooms on the same floor. The house was huge and Alice she was loaded and loved re vamping. She loved the fact she had 2 whole spare rooms upstairs. 

"God dammit i am late"Alice muttered then Betty walked into the bathroom handing her mum a pregnancy test. "Take it. Mum please"Alice looked at her daughter with sad eyes and slowly nodded. Alice shamefully took the test from her daughters hand and ushered her from the ensuite. She peed on the 3 sticks and set her timer. Pacing around her bathroom her heart pounding. "Mumma mumma"Alice heard the speech of her youngest Alice smiled she cringed at the fact she may be pregnant again. She had a 1year 2 month old. Alice's mind was in overdrive when the annoying buzz of her timer startled her. She enhaled deeply and turned over all three sticks.

Alice released a full blown sob. Would FP want another baby. Sure he's mentioned it before but never ever did Alice think it would ever happen. She was 39. Alice took in a deep breathe. She knew she was being hasty but she had drunk alot last night so she rang her doctor and arranged her scan. Alice sighed and walked out of her bedroom a small smile forming on her lips as she smelt pancakes and bacon.  She changed into black leggings and a white blouse with a blue blazer. She pulled on her heels and walked down the stairs smiling as Ella walked to her holding the edges of the sofa. "mumma"She giggled Alice picked her up and swung her around. "Mum i will look after her do what you gotta do"Betty smiled as Alice placed Ella in her highchair. Alice looked at Betty then to Ella. She kissed Ella's hair that had developed into a dark brown. "Love you Betty,I will put in the lamb when i get back for the dinner love you sweetheart"Alice grabbed her keys and walked to her car. 

The drive to the hospital was long for Alice. Her mind thinking about everything. She was scared but she too had regrets deep regrets. Her and Fp hadn't been careful' Then she thought over things and soon realised she had missed her last 2 periods. Her January and December. Alice let out a scowl as she parked her car "Dam Jones and his shit pull out game"She rolled her eyes and walked into the private clinic. Smiling at the variety of pictures. When her name was called her stomach filled with butterflies and she felt an urge of happiness furfill her. When she took a place on the bed she pulled up her blouse revealing her slightly tones stomach. Alice had to admit her stomach was good for her age and considering she had carried 4 children. The gel was cold against her skin she let out a chuckle and sigh. The scanner running over her abdomen until a loud thumping noise filled the room. Tears sprung to her eyes as she looked over the screen.

"Miss Smith here is your baby, i estimate your about 11 weeks pregnant which means baby was conceived mid December. You are 2 months gone already, i would like to see you again at 16 weeks then of course gender reveal if wanted at 20 weeks. But this is a very healthy little one. "Alice smiled widely "please could i have 4 pictures"She asked in awe of the screen. The nurse smiled sweetly and printed 4 pictures and handed Alice and appointment card. Alice knew exactly when her baby was conceived. 11 weeks prior the night before Ella's birthday. Alice drove to Mcdonalds and ordered herself a large fries and bacon big mac with a chocolate milkshake of course. She would normally go to pops but today she couldn't be bothered. She ate her food in silence then drove to the local store grabbing a few things. She had 4 hours until they were home and she wanted dinner on the table. Once home Alice's heart fluttered seeing her 2 precious daughters asleep together on the sofa.She tied her hair back into a messy bun snapped a picture and prepared her dinner. Her lamb was roasting slowly and the veg was all prepared ready to be turned on when needed. With 2 hours to spare Alice sat thinking. Jellybean had been away for her 13th Birthday and she wanted to get her something special. Alice sat thinking hard until she remembered what she heard Jellybean say to her friend one day. "I really want a puppy but Gladys always said no and Ali and dad have Ella and Betty to care for"An idea sparked in Alice's head. She knew she had a baby coming in 7 months but Jellybean deserved a present. Something nice. Alice pulled out her phone and began looking on a variety of websites until she found the one. Alice made sure everything was okay and left. Driving to the pet store. She decided she would take Jellybean shopping tomorrow to buy the bed that would be in her room, the collar,lead and tag. Alice added food,bowls, blankets,teddies,a few toys and poop bags into her basket with of course a big bed that would belong downstairs. She lumped it in the boot and drove to the house. On arrival she smiled but once she was invited in her heart dropped at the poor conditions. The house smelt of faeces and death. The floor was marked with urine. When Alice walked into the room she saw her puppy her heart melted, Her eyes drifted to a kitten. It was hiding in a cage. Stuffed at the back. "I will take the kitten too if for sale"Alice said not needing to give it any thought. She knew it would be a hassle when the baby comes. But she would never leave any animal in poor conditions like this. "Of course dear. she was gonna get drowned later if not take them both i don't want money i just want the rats gone"Alice's heart dropped she nodded and leaned down picking up the puppy who instantly snuggled herself into Alices coat. Alice sighed and took her to the car taking her coat off too. She settled her in the back seat and she curled up whilst Alice walked back into the house picking up the kitten who was extremely skinny and needed a good bath. Alice walked to her car without saying a word to the evil lady. She instantly noticed how the puppy had wandered into her passenger seat. Alice opened her back door and moved her fluffy coat into Ella's car seat and gently she place the ginger kitten into the seat.
