The cool winter breeze blew through the broken window within yours, and Violets room as she lied still with your tall sleeping form clinging to her. You had recently been hunting and due to the cold weather you had caught something, draining most of your energy and giving you a slight fever.

Violet absentmindedly ran her fingers through your hair as her unoccupied hand rubbed circles on your back.Looking down at your sick form, a frown took place on her face when she realized just how pail you looked.

She slowly moved from under you placing the blankets over your feverish body in an attempt to keep you warm before leaving the room in search for Ruby hopefully to find some type of medicine to help with whatever sickness you may have caught during the hunt.

Violet opened the doors to the courtyard allowing the cold breeze to make complete contact upon her skin sending a shiver down her back, she folded her arms practically hugging herself to keep some warmth from earlier.

stepping outside she spotted Ruby sitting next to clem conversing as Aj drew. Violet sat down at the table at the opposite side of Ruby getting ready to ask about some medicine,only to be interrupted by a slightly high pitched voice "Hi Violet!" the young boy greeted,Violet only gave a slight wave and a quiet 'hello' before turning back to Ruby, getting ready to ask again she was interrupted once more, "Where's (N/N)?, she's usually always with you" Aj stated as he tilted his head slightly to the left.

"She's asleep bud, she's not feeling to well so I came out here to ask Ruby if we had any medicine" she replied, slightly shifting her gaze over to ruby giving her a questionable look. A prolonging look showed upon Ruby's face as she thought back to what medical supplies the school had brought back after the last supply run. "I'm not sure, but if we had some it would be in the office somewhere" she stated. Violet gave a slight nod and a quick 'thank you' before running into the building in search of the medicine in hopes to aid you in some way.

After looking through the entire office for thirty-minutes with no site of medicine Violet came to a conclusion that only made her frown, "No medicine" she stated in a whisper letting out a heavy sigh while walking over to the office desk and placing her hands upon it allowing her head to drop as she thought of the amount of 'pain' you might be in due to this cold.

however she was broken out of her thoughts as she felt arms wrap around her waist and the once cold feeling that took over her being replaced with warmth. She raised her head, ever so slightly tilting tilting to the side only to see you holding her while you nuzzled your face into her neck "What are you doing up (Y/N) you're supposed to be in bed" the blonde stated as she gave a worried look to your taller form. 

Your grip tightened a bit as you nuzzled deeper into her neck letting out a sigh of contentment, "you left the bed.... and so did the warmth" you whispered slightly clearing your sore throat afterwards to get rid of the somewhat groggy voice you had. Violet lightly scratched your arms that were around her waist calming you down and making you even more drowsy than what you already were "If you keep doing this I'm gonna fall asleep Vi" you mumbled into her neck sending vibrations through her body causing her to giggle at the new feeling.

She turned around fully, pulling you into a long hug as she placed her head on your shoulder nuzzling into it to keep close contact with your warm skin. "Lets get you into bed then" She stated pulling away from the hug, you rose an eyebrow giving her a somewhat 'flirtatious' face instantly making her blush as she mumbled a quiet "not in that way" while she looked down.

you giggled and grabbed her hand making a smile spread across her face at the sound of your happiness, she slowly pulled your sleepy form down the stairs and along the corridor to your room where you plopped down onto the bed dragging Violet down with you earning a yelp from the shorter blonde.She nuzzled her face into your chest as you nuzzled your face into her shoulder. A comfortable silence filled the room, the only noise being heard was the wind from outside followed by the soft breathing of the two of you. "I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier. I went to go find you some medicine but we don't have any" she said, her voice muffled due to the position she was in.

A sleepy smile took place on your face as you squeezed her a little letting out a small yawn before talking "Thank you Vi, but as long as I have you I won't need real medicine" silence took over once again as you slowly fell asleep, but before you could three special words in which Violet loved to hear filled the room "I love you" you said, falling into a deep sleep with your arms around Violet securely, she smiled and kissed your head whispering a soft "I love you too" before placing her head back on your chest and falling into a comfortable sleep along with you at her side.
