Sleepy Mornings(MxR)

The warm glow of the sun flowed through the room as you and Minerva lied in bed.

Minerva ran her hand up and down your back as you slept. Your arm wrapped around her waist and your head nuzzled into the crook of her neck.

Seeing you in such a relaxed state after having a stressful week brought a great feeling of relief to her as well as a smile to her face.

Moving her hand up to your head she began to play with your hair, her nails scratching your scalp softly earning a small 'hum' from your now slightly awake form.

"Good morning baby~" she softly whispered in your ear.

"Morning my love" you whispered back while nuzzling your face further into her neck causing a small giggle to leave the redhead.

You slowly started to fall back asleep as the peaceful atmosphere slightly lulled you to sleep. Your hold around her waist tightened as you stretched and moved closer to her finding a better position for the two of you that would be comfortable if you were to fall back asleep.

"You all good?" she questioned as you kept on moving around causing her to softly laugh.

"Yeah...Just trying to get comfortable....sorry" you mumbled into her neck sending vibrations through her body causing goose-bumps to cover arms.

"It's okay (n/n). You can go back to sleep if you want, I'll stay right here".

Running her hand through your hair once again she began to softly hum the tune of 'I Love You'.

The peaceful atmosphere and the presence of your girlfriend helped you fall back to sleep almost instantly.

Not only did you fall asleep quickly but you woke up after five minutes of being asleep. And the person to thank for the interruption of your much needed, peaceful sleep was none-other than the dread-headed teen...Louis.

"RISE AND SHINE LOVE BIRDS IT'S TIME TO WORK!" he shouted gaining a loud groan from you and a death glare from your red-headed girlfriend.

"LOUIS DO YOU EVER SHUT UP!?" you shouted back. Pulling away from Minerva you grabbed one of the pillows you were laying on and threw it right at Louis. Hitting him in the face with the pillow caused the young-teen to stumble backwards and lose his balance.

As you saw Louis make contact with the floor you 'flipped' him off before cuddling back up to Minerva once more.

Once you flipped the boy off Minerva lost it. She began to go into a fit of laughter making her chest to rise and fall in a very un-even pattern causing your head to 'bounce' around as it rested on her chest.

At the sound of her contagious laughter you joined in. The both of you laughed so much your abs began to become sore as tears ran down both your cheeks.

"L-Louis s-she got you go-good" Minerva spoke between laughs while holding her stomach with one hand and yours with the other while you copied her stance.

"Hey!, it's not funny that shit hurt" he said trying to defend himself while rubbing his lower back.

"T-that teaches you n-not to wake me u-up you ass!" you said as you slowly began to catch your breath.

"Now can you leave Lou? I really wanna sleep. And I swear to GOD! if you wake me up again I'll sick Rosie on you got it?" you questioned while pointing your finger at him while you got out of bed to only close the door in a harsh manner infront of his face causing a loud 'bang' to echo down the halls and the walls inside your room to shake.

Walking back to the bed you plopped down onto the bed causing the redhead who just managed to catch her breath to let out another laugh.

Pulling you into her grasp she wrapped her arms around you tightly allowing you to nuzzle your face back into her neck.

"Not gonna lie (n/n) that was kinda mean" she whispered leaving a small kiss on the top of your head.

"He was being an ass.....he deserved it babe...plus it was hilarious" you mumbled

"Yes it was" she smiled.

You left a kiss to her neck before you nuzzled further into her.

"You're cute when you're sleepy" she mumbled against your hair as she ran her hand up and down your back.

She was expecting a reply but all she got was a quiet snore from you.

She smiled and gave you another kiss on the head "You're such a dork" she whispered before closing her eyes following you down the path of sleep.
