After a long uneventful day of hunting for food and killing walkers, you were glad to be home.

With slow and heavy footsteps, you make your way through the main gates, eyes half lidded and breathing slow as you day dream about laying on your bed.

"Hey Omar, got you some food to cook." 

You quietly hand the rabbits over to Omar before walking into the dorms. Making your way down the hall, you slowly turn the knob on your door.

As the door squeaks open, you step inside. A heavy sigh falling from your lips as you close the door behind you, resting your head against it as your eyes fall shut.

You hear the creaking of floorboards coming from in front of you, soft footsteps following behind the creaks. Before you can open your eyes to see who it is, you feel arms wrap around you as a head rests on your chest.

"Long day?"

You relax at the sound of Brody's voice and rest your head on hers, nodding silently as you circle your arms around her waist.

"The longest." you mutter quietly. Brody lightly chuckles and backs away from you, gently cupping your cheeks in her hands. She softly caresses your cheeks with the pad of her thumbs, looking you directly in the eyes.

"You look so tired, lets get you in bed."

You nod and let Brody gently tug you over to the bed. A soft, relieved sigh falls from your lips when your back hits the mattress and your eyes fall shut once more. Brody giggles and lays beside you, letting you rest your head on her chest as you wrap an arm around her waist

Brody grins as you nuzzle your head into her chest and brings her hand up to your head, gently running her fingers through your hair.

"Did you have a good day?" you mumbled tiredly. Brody nods and brushes her nose against your head, pressing a kiss to it as she too closes her eyes.

"I did. Vi, Minnie and I caught a lot of fish. What about you?"

You nod slowly "It was good. Long, but good, Lou and I caught a lot of rabbits surprisingly."

Brody chuckles "He actually worked?" you nod and laugh lightly "He did actually. It surprised me too."

You yawn loudly and nuzzle further into Brody's side, searching for the comforting warmth she always seemed to provide.

"You comfy, babe?"

You hum and nod, sighing happily when she starts to scratch your back. She smiles down at you, wrapping both arms around you and tugging you to lay on top of her.

"You can sleep if you want to, I can tell you're exhausted."

You nod and allow yourself to completely relax in her embrace. As you start to drift to sleep, Brody continues to run her hands along your back, pressing kisses to your head and cheek as you completely fall into a deep sleep.

"Goodnight, y/n. rest well. I love you."
