Silence(VxR)

The sky was cloudy and the sun was rising . A cool breeze ran through Violets hair as she watched a mixture of pink and orange cover the fluffy clouds and light blue sky.

A deafening silence filled the air bringing a sense of anxiety to the young blonde.

"I remember watching the sun rise with you." "You would never shut up about all the bright colors that filled the sky. You would hold my hand and say your famous line while looking into the distance that consisted of 'the sky is beautiful.. but it'll never beat your beauty'" she chuckled.

"I really miss your stupid jokes and that goofy smile you would give me if you did something wrong as if you were asking me to save you from the mouth full you would get from Ruby and Clem"

"I-I miss how clingy you were a-and how when we would hold hands you would always kiss it before you let go"

She sniffled and wiped away the single tear that fell from her eye only to have several fall seconds later followed by quiet sobs and whimpers as she hugged your jacket closer to her body.

She began to sob harder as she took a breath in, your famous smell of raspberries and roses filled her senses.

"I-its been so quiet lately...its like all the happiness we once felt went away after you did...No one laughs anymore and we barely smile... You really brought out the good in everyone"

"God I miss you so much... It's unbelievable how much I miss you... A-and the way you died i-its my fault.."

"Y-y-you" she broke into a sob unable to finish her sentence. She gasped for air as her sobbing became uncontrollable.

Her hold on your jacket tightened making her knuckles turn white.

"Y-you sacrificed y-yourself all b-because of my stupid m-mistakes and I'm s-so sorry"

"Y-you took the bite for me a-and I c-couldn't save you b-but you still treated me like it w-wasn't even my f-fault"

"I c-can still hear your voice....Y-your last words run through my head o-on replay...y-your stupid final words that would fill me w-with joy every single time I w-would hear you say them.. a-and I never got to say it back before you d-d-died in my arms..."

"B-but I need to let you know t-that I l-love you too...s-so f-fucking much"

She began to calm down, her sobs came to a stop and the only sound that could be heard coming from the blonde were soft sniffles.

The sky was now bright blue and the fluffy clouds were now a bright white

Violet began to lay on her side as she cuddled into your jacket.

She closed her eyes and the last thing to come from her mouth was a soft 'I love you'.

But before she could completely fall asleep she heard your voice "I love you too purple".

And for the first time since your death she fell asleep with a smile on her face.
