Stressful day(CxR)

Silence. It was the only thing you would like to hear after a long and stressful day of work and currently it was what you wanted.

But you cant always get what you want.

You let out an exasperated sigh when your manager walked into the recording booth you were currently in.

"The beat is great Y/N but the words? not so much. I think it would be best if you scrapped the lyrics and wrote something better"

You really wanted to roll your eyes and snap at him but somehow you found the strength to hold your anger back. You took a deep breath and slowly nodded your head while giving him a smile that was clearly forced but was somehow unseen by your manager.

"Yeah. Sure" "Great!" he smiled while clapping his hands together "I know you're going to be busy with the new lyrics but while your out you should get some coffee, oh! and get me one to on your way back thanks"

As he finished his sentence you no longer had the strength to hold in your anger and you snapped.

"Whoa whoa whoa, I was not signed to this label to be your secretary I was signed to create music. So you can buy yourself a coffee cause I'm out of here."

You wrapped your headphones around the booth mic before pushing past your manager making sure your shoulder nudged his.

You grabbed your keys out of your bag before placing it over you shoulder and walking to the door of the recording room. Before you left you turned to your manager "I'm done with this shitty label. Have fun looking for another artist"

And with that you walked of the room making sure to slam the door behind you.

Pulling into your drive way you turned your car off and took your keys out of the ignition.

Letting out a heavy sigh you placed you head on your steering wheel closing your eyes. You groaned when you lifted your head up, your neck felt sore after having to look down at your lyric book for so long today and you had just now managed to notice the soreness radiating from it.

Raising your hand to the back of your neck you lightly rubbed it before tilting your head to the right and the left trying to release as much tenseness as you could.

Opening your car door you grabbed your bag before stepping out of your vehicle.

Walking up to your front door you raised your keys and unlocked the door letting out a content sigh when the door swung open.

Closing the door behind you, you kicked off your shoes before sliding down the door and resting your head on your knees.

You jumped when you felt a hand gently rub your shoulder "It's okay baby its just me"

You raised your head and stared at your wife. A frown took place on her face when she noticed the bags under your eyes. She could tell you were stressed and by the bags under your eyes you clearly hadn't been getting enough sleep.

"Oh Y/N" she cooed. Gently cupping your cheek she ran her thumb over your smooth skin, you let out a content sigh and leaned into her gentle touch.

"Stressful day?" she questioned. You nodded your head slowly and closed your eyes again as you began to feel sleepy.

Clementine noticed you slightly dozing off and she took that as her cue to get you up to bed.

She lightly shook your shoulder causing you to look up and give her a sleepy smile which made her smile in return and giggle.

"Lets go to bed baby" she whispered. You nodded your head and slowly stood up with the help of your lovely wife.

You leaned into her side and laid your head on her shoulder as you interweave your fingers together.

Finally reaching your bedroom Clementine placed you on the bed before walking into your shared closet to get you something more comfortable to sleep in.

When she walked into the room a smile grew on her futures. You sat on the bed lightly dozing off into sleep, your head lolled to the right but instantly snapped back when you realized you were falling causing Clementine to giggle and you to turn to her.

You gave her a confused look before you gave her another sleepy smile. Clementine shook her head with a smile on her face and made her way towards you.

"Arms up baby" she ordered. You lifted your arms up allowing Clementine to take your shirt of and place the new one on.

"Now stand up" You stood up and slightly wobbled but she caught you and perfected your balance before ordering you to unbutton your jeans in which you followed.

She helped you step into the pair of sweatpants she held in her hands before giving you a kiss.

Pulling away from the kiss you wrapped your arms around her waist and nuzzled your face into the crook of her neck "I love you Clem" you said placing a kiss to her neck. Clementine smiled and ran her hand up and down your back as she swayed your bodies back and forth.

"I love you too N/N" she said before placing a kiss to your cheek and pulling away from the hug "Now its bed time for you" you hummed and nodded your head before crawling into bed.

Once again a content sigh left your lips as your head came in contact with your pillow.

Clementine kissed your temple and was about to leave the room when you wrapped your fingers around her wrist.

She turned back to see your eyes were closed "Cuddle?" you questioned quietly as sleep began to take over you.

She nodded her head even though she knew you wouldn't see it and crawled in bed beside you.

You curled up to her side and she ran her hand through your hair earning a satisfied hum when her nails ran along your scalp.

"Tomorrows a new day my love" she whispered. You nodded your head and nuzzled your face farther into the crook of her neck.

"You're so cuddly today bear" she stated pulling you closer to her.

"'m tired" you mumbled "Love you" you stated letting out a yawn before you fell into a deep slumber.

"I love you too bear~" she whispered back as she closed her eyes before falling asleep as well.
