As Long As You're Here[M]

Just some fluff 'cause why not?

The soft chirping of birds and the laughter of children filled the air as you looked into the distance, watching as stumbling walkers roamed the open forest.

Your legs swayed back and fourth as they dangled over the edge of the watch tower, a place you always went to to think or to just relax. You were always comfortable on the tower, whether it was because of the serenity and silence it brought or the memories that filled your mind whenever you peered over the vast forest, you would never know, but truthfully it didn't matter, you were just happy that you had a place to come to when life became to overwhelming.

You took a deep breath before slowly letting it out, closing your eyes as you relished in the peace you felt at the moment.

Frankly you didn't think this moment could have gotten any better, the warm breeze flowing through your hair, your skin being sunkissed as the gentle sunlight fell over you. But you were wrong. You were overcome with joy when you heard footsteps approaching you, and when you turned around you smiled widely.

Minerva stood behind you, mirroring your smile as she saw the familiar sparkle in your eyes.

"Hi" she spoke.

You giggled, watching her as she slowly made her way to your side before taking a seat beside you.

"Hi" you whispered out. She chuckled at you before reaching her hand out to grab yours, lacing your fingers together.

She turned her head away from you to look at the view, one she was oh-so- familiar with yet it still surprised her with how beautiful it was. You laid your head on her shoulder while running your thumb over her knuckles.

"What are you doing up here?" she asked softly, resting her head against yours.

"I just needed some peace and quiet. Louis was being a little to obnoxious today and Marlon was stressing me out with hunting and everything" you explained, letting out a heavy sigh as the stressful tension that once filled you slowly came back.

Minerva turned her head down to look at you before laying a gentle kiss to the top of your head.

"I'm sorry babe" she spoke, running her thumb over your knuckles in hopes to calm you down. You closed your eyes and nuzzled closer to her, letting out a soft hum when she placed the hand that once held yours in your hair,running her fingernails over your scalp sending chills down your spine.

"Would you like to be left alone then?" she asked, worrying that her presence was bothering you.

You shook your head "No. No please stay, I love your presence."

Minerva smiled at your reply and continued to run her hand through your hair while enjoying the atmosphere around the two of you.

"I love you" you said sincerely, breaking the comforting silence that once consumed the two of you. Minerva smiled at your confession and leaned away slightly, lifting her hand up to your chin to cup it before placing her lips against yours.

Your eyes fluttered closed and you placed your hand at the nape of Minerva's neck, pulling her closer to you to deepen the kiss.

You smiled into the kiss, seemingly ruining the passionate kiss making the older-teen pull away with a smile of her own before resting her forehead against yours "I love you too" she confessed, running her thumb over your smooth skin.

Silence filled the air as you stared into each others eyes before the silence was once again broken.

"Are you sure you're okay with me being up here with you?"

You rolled your eyes playfully and pulled her in for another kiss. This one lasting longer then the last as you poured all of your joy into the kiss to show her you were fine with her joining you.

"I'm sure Min's" you whispered against her lips.

"I'm okay as long as you're here" you smiled and pulled her in for another kiss.

"You're cheesy y/n" she teased, poking you in the side, causing you to laugh and squeal as she continued to do it before starting to tickle you.

"Mi-Minnie! st-sto-stop!" you cried out with laughter, tears filling your eyes and falling down your cheeks as she continuously tickled your sides with no remorse.

"Say I'm the best girlfriend and that you love me"

You rolled your eyes before giving in.

"Y-you're the b-best girlfriend a-and I-I love you!" you shouted, hoping her attack would stop but she continued her torture.

"Now say you're hopelessly romantic and cheesy"

You groaned as your stomach started to hurt from laughing so much.

"I'm ho-hopelessly romantic and cheesy!"

Finally she stopped her actions, a large smile on her face as she saw joyful tears falling down your cheeks. She leaned down and kissed you before looking off into the distance once again.

Leaving you to catch your breath beside her.

"O-okay never-mind. . . I think I wanna be alone" you panted out causing the red-head to laugh and shake her head.

"You're stuck with me now. And I'll always be here whether you like it or not" you huffed out a breath before sitting up and resting your head on her shoulder.

"I love you" she smiled "I love you too"
