Deadly Winter(BxR)

A/N: In this story Brody has never been to the boarding school. The two of you met when you had lost your family due to the outbreak and her group took you n as their own. You've been dating for three years and currently you are looking for a new place to call home after the both of you had been separated from the group. A horrid winter has taken place and its starting to get to cold...Can you survive?.. Feel free to request anything that comes to your mind and I'll try to write it to the best of my ability's. The wind blew as heavy snow fell from the sky. The temperatures had decreased immensely once you and Brody had reached the woods leaving the two of you to almost freeze to death on numerous occasions.

As the two of you walked hand in hand you began to notice how much Brody was shivering due to the immense weather change.

Letting go of her hand you began to take off your jacket gaining a confused and worried look from your girlfriend.

Placing the jacket over her shoulders you grabbed her hand re-intertwining your fingers. "W-what is this for?..Y-you n-need it (N/N)" the shivering girl spoke.

"I'm okay Brod's I'm actually kinda hot so you can have it for now" you lied. Trying to hide your shivering and stutters due to the cold weather you gave her a small smile followed my a small kiss on her cheek.

Her cheeks flushed at the sudden feeling of your chapped lips against her skin making her look down in an attempt to hide her blush.

Of course she knew you were lying but she also knew how stubborn you are when it comes to keeping her happy and safe even if it risked your own safety and happiness. At times she hated how selfless you were but in all reality it was one of the reasons she fell in love with you.

"T-t-thank you" she said

You pulled her closer to you trying to not only keep some type of warmth but to also make sure some of your left over body heat was given to her instead of being wasted by the cold breeze.

"No problem love, anything for you".

Kissing her cheek one last time you turned your attention forward once more.

The heavy snowfall made it very difficult to see anything and the wind made it difficult to hear any noise if it wasn't right by your ear.

Overall the weather was really shitty and no one should be walking in it.

Due to all your senses being distracted by your current situation you didn't hear or see the walker walking up to the two of you until its body made complete contact with yours causing you to fall backwards onto the snow covered ground while Brody was pushed to the side being able to keep her balance.

Due to your shocked state you didn't have enough time to grab any weapon or push the walker off of you.

And due to your delayed reaction the walkers teeth made contact with your skin causing a shriek of pain to escape your mouth before you pushed the monster off of you and bashed its head with a near by rock killing it completely.

Brody quickly ran to your side after hearing the blood curdling scream come from your mouth.

Reaching your side she saw your chest rise and fall in an uneven pattern as you gripped onto your wrist. The sight of you lying on the ground holding your wrist with a pained expression on your face followed by tears slipping past your eyes made her extremely worried.

"(y/n)! y-you're o-okay ri-right?" she questioned taking your hand in hers as she softly pulled it away from the 'injured' one.

As she looked to your wrist a 'gasp' left her mouth as she raised her hand to cover her mouth. The sight at your injured state caused an unhealthy amount of tears to cascade down her face.
