Cramps[V]

Violet sat perched on one of the many tattered couches spread along the courtyard, quiet moans and groans of pain falling past her lips as she cradled her cramping stomach.

It's that time of month for her and seeing that she's stuck in the apocalypse there's really no way to relieve her body of the constant cramping, so instead of staying inside her room,cooped up underneath multiple blankets, she went outside; hoping that the suns rays would be warm enough to soothe her aching body, but it didn't seem to work.

She would occasionally move around, switching positions from sitting up to lying down, desperately wanting and needing her cramps to stop.

"Uh, Vi?, you okay?."

She groaned once more, this time out of annoyance. She was already slightly agitated due to the uncontrollable cramping, but hearing Louis' voice seemed to annoy her even more.

"Does it look like I'm okay, Louis?!." she snapped, voice slightly muffled as she curled into a ball. Louis feigned surrendering and stepped away from the blonde.

"Okay, I get it, you're not in the mood." he spoke, about to walk away so he would no longer be yelled at, but stopping when another groan of pain fell from his blonde best friends lips.

"Is there anything I can get you?."

Violet shook her head and curled into a ball, furthermore muffling her voice "No." she painfully spoke.

"You sure?. You don't want me to go get some water or maybe even, y/n?."

"No Louis. Water isn't going to help and, y/n, is hunting with Aasim."

"I can just go get her?." 

Violet was about to reject Louis' request, but she wasn't able to get a single word out as someone else spoke before her.

"Get who?." you questioned, placing your bow and some arrows on the floor next to the old,tattered couch. You gave Louis a soft smile and a small wave before your eyes wandered to Violet.

"Well you actually. Violet seemed to be in pain so I came by to check on her. I was about to come get you from the hunting grounds, but, here you are!."

You looked to Louis "Well I'm here now. Thanks Lou, but you can go do your thing." Louis smiled, waved you a goodbye then walked towards the fire pit, a deck of cards in hand.

When Louis left you crouched down and lifted a hand, resting it on Violets arm as you gently rubbed it up and down "You're not feeling good, Vi?." she whimpered and shook her head, eyes squinted shut as another cramp surges through her abdomen.

You sighed softly and leaned forward, placing a soft and gentle kiss to her forehead "What's going on, hmm?." it took a few moments for her to speak, but once she did she explained her situation.

"I started my period a-and my cramps are really bad."

"Flower, you should've had Louis,come get me sooner. What can I do?, what do you need?."

"Can you lay with me?." a smile tugged on your lips, however you were slightly hesitant, of course you wanted to lay with her, but Violet wasn't one to show affection in front of the others.

"Are you sure you want to do that out here?. The others will see."

Violet rolled her eyes and reached her hand out, latching it onto yours "I honestly don't care, n/n. I just want to lay with you and have my cramps stop cause they hurt like a bitch." you chuckled and stood up "Okay then scooch on over, babe."

Violet did as you wished and moved over so there was just enough room for you to lay beside her. Violet rested her head on your shoulder and wrapped an arm around your waist, wincing when a cramp comes in at full force.

She winces and grips onto your jacket tightly. She nuzzles her head into your shoulder and grinds her teeth, waiting for the pain to subside. 

What would have been minutes of painful cramps turned out to be a few split seconds, and it was all thanks to you. 

When you noticed how intense Violets cramps were you knew just what to do. Sliding your hand under her shirt you began to gently rub circles into her stomach, ultimately pushing her pain to the side.

You heard a hum of relief fall from her lips as her body relaxed completely. You chuckled lightly and rested your head on Violets.

"That feels good." she mumbled, cuddling further into your side."That's good to hear. Anything else you need?." she shook her head and yawned softly "Just want to sleep." you nodded and placed your other hand on her back, tracing random patterns along her spine.

"Then get some sleep. I'll be right here, I won't go anywhere."

"Promise?." she questioned, voice laced with sleep. You grinned and nodded your head, pressing a kiss to the crown of hers "I promise. Get some rest, I love you."

"Love you too."
