As you pulled into your driveway you placed the car in park and turned to face your six-year-old daughter, a bright and warming smile etched onto your face at the sight of your daughter. You watched as she peered outside the cars window, legs dangling over her car seat as they swayed back and forth.

"Amara. . . Sweetheart."

At the sound of your gentle call Amara turned her head and gave you a smile, the simple gesture making yours grow wider.

"We're home, honey, lets get inside."

Amara nodded, unbuckled her seat belt and waited for you to walk over to her door and help her out. Once everything was settled and you were sure there was no longer any valuables in your car you moved over to your front door.

"Okay, why don't you go play some of your math games for a little bit while I make some dinner and after we eat I'll help you pick some pictures for your family tree."

"Okay, mama!."

With a small side hug and a quiet 'I love you' your daughter ran into your study, leaving you behind to admire her cheerfulness. With a soft sigh you placed your work bag by the front door before slowly trailing down the hallway and into the kitchen where you started grabbing ingredients to cook Amara's favorite food, pizza.

Wiping your hands down with a dry cloth you smiled down at your work. The pizza looked perfect, filled with the correct amount of home made marinara sauce and covered with just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni.

After slicing the pizza you grab two plates and set the table. Once you've finished setting everything up you venture down the dimly lit hallway and into your study where you could hear the lovely and infectious sound of Amara's giggles.

The sound alone was enough to brighten your darkest days and able to bring a smile to your face. You would never get tired of hearing that sound nor would you ever want it to stop.

Quietly you entered the study room and walked over to Amara, gently placing your hands on her shoulders and pressing a kiss to her cheek once you reached her.

"Dinners ready, Sweets." Amara cranes her neck to look at you and smiles, a giggle falling from her lips as you pepper kisses all over her face.

"M-Mama st-stop!." you smiled and lightly laughed, pressing one final kiss to her cheek before stepping away. Amara jumped from the chair and looked up to you, eyes sparkling with adoration and love.

"Whats for dinner?." she questioned as you lead her out of the study, hand placed on her upper back as you walked "Only your favorite, princesa." with an audible gasp your daughter looks up to you "Pizza?!." you chuckle and watch as Amara runs from your side and over to the dining table.

She eagerly takes a slice of pizza and takes a large bite, humming in satisfaction as she savors the small slices' overwhelmingly perfect flavor.

"Easy, Amara, I don't want you choking." "Sorry, mama." she apologized, mouth full of food as she smiled widely. You mirrored her grin and shook your head while reaching for a napkin, gently brushing it over the corner of her lips, ridding her face of marinara sauce.

"Okay, princesa, lets go pick out some pictures for you to show your class before bath and bedtime." Amara nodded and held her arms out for you, wanting to be held in your comforting embrace as a wave of sleepiness washes over her.
