VioletxCaptured reader(part 2)

*VIOLET'S POV*

A sound of crackling filled my ears as I slowly came to my senses.

Opening my eyes I looked at my surroundings, the boat I was once held captive in sat in a slanted position as water filled it slowly dragging the large vessel to the bottom of the lake.

Gripping onto the ground I currently laid on I began to search for any sign of my friends

"H-hello?!" I called out. I stood up allowing myself to see my surroundings better.

Heavy foot steps approached me from behind gaining my attention causing me to turn around quickly.

"Violet! are you okay?" a concerned Clementine questioned while checking me for any injuries.

"Y-yeah I-I'm fine... how did I get out here?...and where's (Y/N)?"

Clementine frowned at me causing a rush of anxiety to go through me "I-I pulled you out of the ship when I noticed you hadn't come out yet... When I brought you out here I ran back inside to see if anyone else was there..." she paused, taking a deep breath in she continued with the reason of (Y/n)'s absence

"When I ran back in I didn't see anything other than this" lifting up her arm she showed me (Y/n)'s bloodied jacket.

A gasp escaped my mouth followed by a quiet sob as I reached my hand out grabbing the slightly torn jacket.Pulling it closely to my chest I cried into it before looking back up and once again checking my surroundings.

"S-she c-cant be gone C-Clem....she can't be" I said,my voice cracking slightly at the possible thought of my girlfriend... The one I wanted to live the rest of my life with....being dead.

I gave one more look around the shoreline. Many walkers gathered around the shore, the only audible noise leaving their mouth's was small moans and groans followed by the slight 'crack' of their old joints being dragged along as they moved swiftly towards the large sinking ship.

I slowly began to lower my but I halted my movements when I saw a tall figure lying on the ground.

Focusing my full attention onto the figure I walked forward slowly. Blinking rapidly to make sure what I was seeing wasn't a hallucination I began to fully sprint over to the figure that laid just along the shore gaining a confused face from Clementine before she completely turned her attention to the figure as well allowing a gasp to leave her mouth.

"(Y-y/n)--(Y/n)!" I cried out. Not caring about all the unwanted attention I gained from walkers I slid to my girlfriends side.

Grabbing onto her arm I rolled her over so she was now lying on her back and put my head to her chest checking for a pulse...(N-no, no no no no no..(Y-Y/n) p-p-please... I-I just got you b-back p-please baby d-don't l-leave me" I pleaded, desperate to somehow get my girlfriend back.

I pulled my head away from her chest before starting CPR.

"P-please come back to m-me, y-you can't leave me!" my voice shook as I continuously pushed up and down on her chest.

Her body convulsed as she quickly shifted onto her left side coughing up an almost 'endless amount' of water "F-fuck" she coughed out holding her ribs as she continued coughing.

Gasping for air as the coughing subsided she closed her eyes trying to take in as much air as possible.

"O-Oh thank god! (Y/n)!" I yell out as I pull her into a hug earning a whimper from the girl below me making me pull back quickly to look down at her injured form.

When she completely opened her eyes tears of joy flowed down my cheek. Her tired eyes stared into mine as she slowly lifted her non-injured hand to brush them away "shh I-I'm okay...I-It's..O....Okay" she said, her voice more raspier than usual

She pulled me down for a small hug, her grip was very loose showing me how much pain and exhaustion she was dealing with.

I pulled back and stood up. Checking my surroundings I saw a large group of walker's making their way towards the two of us.

I grabbed onto her arm picking her up off of the ground slowly.

Slinging her arm across my shoulders I began to walk us to where I last saw Clementine.

Spotting Clementine and the others by a makeshift 'carriage' I called out to the others

"G-guys..Over here, h-help me get her to the cart!" I yelled getting their attention.

After getting everyone into the carriage Ruby lightly kicked the horse telling it to start moving.

As the 'carriage' began to move we all let out a sigh of relief. (Y/n) laid her head on my shoulder while she still held onto her ribs. Her breathing was un-even as small and quiet whimpers left her mouth.

I could tell how much pain she was in causing my heart to 'shatter' into pieces.

She closed her eyes slowly falling into a light sleep as we made our journey back home.

~TIME SKIP~

We had finally made it home and (Y/n) was aided by Ruby.

Her sleeping body laid beside me, her now wrapped up hand was draped across my waist as her face was nuzzled into my neck. Nothing but her soft snores filled the room.

I allowed myself to relax for the first time in two days. Finally having (Y/n) by my side felt so nice, sleep began to consume me.

The last thought running through my head were three words (Y/n) said after we bandaged her up

"I love you~"
