Y/N'S POV:

I slowly walked towards the abandoned building in front of me that I assumed was an old train station. I made sure to be aware of my surroundings while also watching my step, making sure I wouldn't step on anything that would alarm the large heard of walkers that stood inches away from me.

I hid behind an old train car and peered at the heard. My eyes shifted from the door of the old building to the stray walkers that stood next to it. I searched for any possible way to get in but came to the conclusion that getting in would be impossible without a distraction of some sort.

I watched as the group of walkers split, one half went away from the house and the other went closer to it. This intrigued me and caused me to think of a plan. If I could distract them by throwing a heavy object against the train car opposite to the building I can run in and search for supplies.

I shrugged my shoulders and nodded my head, deciding to go with the plan that could possibly end up in my death, it was either death by walkers or death by starvation.

I took one last glance at my surroundings before grabbing a large rock that laid by my feet. I arched my arm back and threw the rock against the car opposite of the building and myself.

Although I couldn't hear the presumably loud clank of the rock I assumed the walkers were distracted, and with this knowledge I made my way to the decrepit building as quickly and quietly as I could.

I had managed to get to the front steps that lead to the small porch when a walker attached its hand to my leg. I let out a silent gasp and turned to look at the walker beneath me. It's lower jaw was unhinged from it upper one as it prepared its self to bite me. But before it could I stabbed my combat knife into its skull.

I huffed and took my blade out from its head before rushing inside. Once inside I closed the door and leaned on it. I shook my head and took a deep breath in and out in hopes to calm my breathing.

'I've got to be more careful' I thought. Pushing myself away from the door I looked around the station. A pair of dead walkers sat in chairs beside each other while facing a window, next to the chair laid a bottle of what I assumed was poison.

I shook my head and frowned. Deciding to push pass the deceased couple I walked into a separate room. Expired cans littered the room as well as trash, a mattress was pushed off to the side while a hatch lied open in the middle of the room.

The hatch door laid next to the mattress with burn marks covering the old medal, the hatch flooring also displayed the burnt pattern as if an explosion occurred. My eyes searched the hatch for any sign of food. I stepped into the open space below the ground and crouched.

Jars filled with non-expired food were spread out along the wall. I smiled widely at my find and started to place some of the jars into my backpack. A few minutes passed, I continued to stack as much food into my backpack, the small bag eventually became to full and I zipped the bag up.

I stood from my crouched position and placed my hands on the sides of the tile that aligned the floor but I stopped all movements as a cold metallic barrel was placed on the back of my head. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath while raising my arms in the air to show I meant no harm.
