I'll never let you go(BxR)

You woke up when a bright light shined into your eyes.

You groaned and shuffled around on the concrete floor beneath you trying to find a comfortable position.

You sighed out in frustration when you were still uncomfortable.

You sat up and raised your arm up to cover your eyes from the sunlight. You yawned softly before you rubbed your eyes and stretched.

You looked at your surroundings and noticed that you had once again fallen asleep at the top of the watch tower.

You sat there and stared into the distance with squinted eyes and began to think of all the events that had happened.

Clementine and Aj had joined the group, Marlon was dead, a group of raiders were going to attack the place you called home,and everyone was panicking about protecting the school.

Soon your thoughts were controlling you and you couldn't help but panic slightly.

What if you or your friends die while fighting the raiders?. What if Brody dies because of your fullishness?. What if you some how end up bit?. Or if you and your friends get captured by the raiders and are forced to work for them. What if-

"Y/N?. You okay?"

You were pulled out of your thoughts by your girlfriends worried voice.

You turned your head slowly and made eye contact with the younger girl. Her face showed nothing but concern and you knew right away you had gone to far into thought.

You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding in and looked down at your shaky hands.

You cleared your throat and slowly nodded your head "Yeah...f-fine"

You heard footsteps approach you before it went quiet.

Brody took a seat next to you on the concrete floor and grabbed one of your shaky hands.

She ran her thumb over your knuckles before bringing your hand to her mouth to leave small butterfly kisses to it.

"You're lying" she whispered before pulling you into her side.

Your squeezed her hand before you turned your head to nuzzle your face into her shoulder.

You let out a shaky breath before replying "I...Got lost in thought"

"What were you thinking about?"

"I-" You were going to explain but in all honesty you couldn't.

A lump formed in your throat and your breath hitched as every horrible scenario possible about the attack filled your mind.

"I-I...c-cant..breathe" you said.

you gasped for air as tears flooded your vision and started to flow down your cheeks like a dam had just broke.

Brody jumped into action and pulled you onto her lap. You laid your head on your shoulder and gripped onto one of Brody's hands in search for as much comfort as possible.

"Shh Y/N shh. You're okay. We're all okay. I need you to breathe for me baby. Deep breaths in and out"

She rubbed your back and rocked back and forth.

You took short ragged breaths trying to calm down but it felt like your lungs were being crushed.

You sobbed uncontrollably and gasped for air. You cried out so loudly Brody was sure the kids below the watch tower could hear you.

"Y/N You're okay. Breathe babe. In and out. In and out"

She began to breathe in and out with you slowly coaxing you through your anxiety attack.

"There you go baby" she cooed.

Your breathing slowly came back to normal and your sobs came to a stop as silent tears trailed down your cheeks.

She brushed the pad of her thumb against your cheek to wipe your tears away.

"It's okay"

She continued to rock back and forth as you continued to calm down.

Once she thought you were calm enough she began to pull away-hoping to bring you back to your shared room so you could be more comfortable- but you only tightened your grip around her and started to whimper again.

"No!.Please don't leave...please" you barely whispered out, your voice cracking at the end of your desperate plea.

"O-Okay. I'm sorry. I'm right here"

She pulled you into her arms once again but this time she placed your head on her chest.

Your ear was right over her heart and the gentle beat of it lulled you into a sleepy state.

You sighed out of relief and closed your eyes.

Brody looked down at your sleepy state and placed her hand in your hair. She gently ran her nails over your scalp and this calmed you down even more.

Soon enough you fell asleep in the arms of your girlfriend.

She gently laid down and pulled your upper body onto her front so your legs intertwined with hers.

She left small kisses on your head here and there so you knew she was still with you.

She let out a breath before she pulled you closer to her chest.

You whimpered a little bit but then tightened your grip around her waist causing her to smile at your clingy state.

"I'll never leave you Y/N" she whispered "I'll never let you go"
