Violet sat on the large brick wall that was surrounding Ericsons Boarding school. She watched as the tree leaves slowly swayed back and forth as a gentle breeze blew through the air.

Her hand rested below her chin, holding up her head and she played with the laces on her boots. She let out a heavy sigh and rolled her eyes, turning around to face the courtyard before looking for Brody.

"Brody hurry the hell up!" she yelled, agitated by how slow the auburn-haired girl was taking. Brody turned away from Marlon and looked to the blonde. A frown taking place when she sees the glare Violet is giving her.

With a heavy sigh Brody says goodbye to Marlon and makes her way to the rusted gates. Violet jumped down from the wall and followed Brody out. She crossed her arms and sped up her walking pace, putting as much distance between her and the younger girl as possible.

"You're gonna have to talk to me some time" Brody spoke, watching as the blonde walked silently. She didn't speak, keeping her eyes forward and her arms crossed as she ignored her old friend.

Brody sighed and sped up her pace as well, matching Violets steps as she finally caught up to the blonde.

"I'm sorry for what happened but you know its not my fault"

"Oh my god do you ever shut up?" Violet mumbled, clearly annoyed.

"I just want my friend back"

"And I just want to get this over with!"

Brody jumped at the blondes sudden shouting and stayed silent.

The two teens continued to stayed silent as they made their way towards the fishing shack.

Brody continued to make small glances towards the blonde, too scared to say something to her since the last time she spoke Violet had an outburst.

"I blame you" Violet muttered, arms still crossed as her lips are turned into a frown. Brody looked at Violet, wanting to say something but she was cut off.

"I blame you for leaving her behind. I blame you for her being gone. I blame you for going out. But I blame myself for not going with her"

Brody frowned at what her friend was saying, yet stayed quiet as she continued to listen.

"I know I cant blame you. I know I shouldn't. But it's easier to blame someone else that isn't me" Violets voice broke, her hands gripping onto her arms as she thought back to when you were with her. Her grip becoming so tight that her knuckles turned white.

She took in a deep breath before shakily letting it out. Her head turning to look at Brody for a split second. But that split second turned to minutes.

She stopped walking gaining a confused look from Brody.

"What are you. . . doing" Brody trailed off when she turned to look where Violet was looking, a gasp leaving her lips when she sees who stands inches away from the two of them.
