As soon as Clementine had heard about the accident she rushed to the hospital. She needed to be by your side, just like she always was.

When she arrived at the hospital she instantly went to the nurses desk, asking question upon question, desperately wanting to know the state you were in and if you were going to be okay.

Her heart was beating rapidly and ultimately felt like it was going to burst right out of her chest, but when the nurse said that you were in critical condition and that there was a possibility of you not waking up, her heart stopped.

She stood there in shock, feet rooted to the floor as the nurses words echoed in her mind. She swallowed thickly and walked over to the waiting room where a nurse kindly lead her. She ran a hand over her face and took some deep breaths in as tears pooled in her eyes.

She stayed seated in the uncomfortable hospital chair and closed her eyes, counting down the minutes for when she could be by your side, and after 2 hours, which felt like 50 years to Clementine, she could finally see you.

She stood on shaky legs and ventured down the hallway, counting down the room numbers until she stopped at yours.

"325" she muttered, staring at the closed door, the only thing keeping you from each other. She raised her trembling hand and turned the knob slowly.

When she entered the room the tears she hopelessly tried to push back fell and a small, quiet gasp fell from her lips.

Multiple wires, that were connected to you, ran directly to machines that not only helped you breathe, but kept you alive. Cuts of all sizes; big and small, littered your skin and the sight of your paled skin was enough to cause Clems heart to ache.

She pulled up a chair right beside your bed and took your hand in hers as she scanned your bruised and battered face. The more she scanned your features the more her stomach churned, and with all honesty, she had to use all of her strength to keep herself from getting sick, it terrified her to see you in such a state.

She gently squeezed your hand and looked up to you, hoping and wishing that you would wake up and send her that beautiful smile of yours that she adored oh-so-much. After sitting there for a few moments alone by your bedside your doctor had stepped into the room.

She gave a Clementine a small smile and walked over to the unoccupied side of your bed, toying around with the wires and even un-connecting some of them from your body. She wrote down some things about your vitals and your current state before looking to Clementine.

"Hello I'm y/n's doctor. You must be her girlfriend."

Clems cheeks flushed a deep red and she lowered her gaze to the floor for a split second "U-uh, a-actually she's my best friend. . . We've just been through everything together and I wasn't about to let her go through this alone."

Your doctor smiled at Clementine, taking in her flustered state by the sudden labeling of being girlfriends, she could tell there was something more to your friendship that had yet to be revealed.

"Uh s-speaking of, y/n, how is she?. I-is she gonna be okay?."

"Well we're not completely sure. We were able to get her stable after bringing her in and she stayed that way during surgery, but she took a hard hit to the head, so hard that its left her in a coma. We're not sure when she'll wake up, or if she even will. If she does wake up there's a possibility of there being permanent damage, for example, memory loss."
