Converted[V][part two]

~Part Two of Convert~

After hours of planning an attack its finally time to strike.

The radiant moonlight illuminated the dense forest, casting shadows of leaves against Violets pale features as she gazed into the distance, watching the Delta's every move.

The young blonde shuffled her feet, a sense of anxiety consuming her as horrid scenarios plagued her mind, ones consisting of death and torture, things she hoped would not occur during this risky attack.

She was lost in thought, so lost that she hadn't noticed you standing by her side until you placed a gentle hand on the small of her back.

"You okay?" you questioned, voice soft yet filled with concern as you watched the younger teens confidence unravel. She nodded her head, still gazing towards the large vessel that held her friends, who she considered family captive.

"Yeah. Just scared" she said quietly. You sighed and wrapped her in a hug which she quickly reciprocated, needing the comforting feeling of being wrapped in your arms.

Neither of you spoke. You didn't need to. You both felt the same, all you needed was silence and the presence of one another, and frankly that was all you wanted. You pulled the blonde closer to you. You were craving the comfort she gives you, sighing out you rested your head in the crook of her neck.

"I can't lose you again y/n." Violet whispered, nuzzling her face into your shoulder, inhaling your comforting scent. You ran your hand up and down her back, nails gently scratching the surface of her her skin sending shivers down the blondes spine.

"Please promise me you'll stay alive." you frowned, pulling away from the hug to rest the palm of your hand on her cheek, your thumb running over her cheek bone "I can't promise that" you whispered, staring into Violets eyes.

She quietly whimpered, tears pooling in her eyes at the thought of losing you again, this time permanently.

"I can't promise that I'll stay alive. I can't promise that I'll come back to you without a scratch on my body" you softly smiled at the blonde, reaching your other hand out you take Violets hand and hold it, running your thumb over her knuckles, hoping to calm the anxious teen.

"But I can promise I will try my best to stay safe. I promise I will try to come back to you alive and well. But you have to promise me you'll try too. . . if I lost you . . . I wouldn't be able to cope" a single tear ran down your cheek and Violet reached up to wipe it away.

She stared into your eyes, lips pulling upward forming a smile "I promise" you smiled back at her and pulled her into a kiss, one filled with every emotion the two of you were feeling.

The kiss was gentle and slow, you wanted it to last forever. The feeling of her lips against yours helped you forget about the world, as if it was just the two of you, all bad things vanished and the only emotion consuming you was love. And it was all because of one girl, whom you loved with your entire life.

You cupped the back of her neck, pulling her closer to deepen the kiss.

You stayed like this until air became a necessity and once you pulled back you rested your forehead against hers. Your breathing irregular as you finally came back down to earth, your surroundings coming back, but you could only focus on one thing. Violet.
