~SNEAK PEAK~

Vibrant white lights. Cold metallic materiel. Hushed whispers.

Those were the first things that you noticed when you opened your eyes. You squinted, the bright lights proving to be far too bright for your liking. As your eyes adjusted to the obnoxious lighting you scanned your surroundings.

A large silver desk was positioned across the room, flasks consisting of red,purple, and yellow substances littered across the metallic work surface. To the side of the glass flasks laid needles, scalpels and metallic restraints that seemed to have some type of technological equipment attached to them. 

Confusion covered your features as you scanned the rest of the room. It was covered with robotic objects such as arms,legs, torsos and even heads. All types of technology covered the room, tablets, computers, phones, cameras, anything that could be deemed useful in a scientific lab.

After scanning the room you began to sit up, desperately wanting to leave. However you were barely able to move up due to the restraints that were clasped to your wrists and ankles. Fear spiked through your mind after a few tugs to your cuffs. They clearly weren't going to come off without some type of key.

Taking a deep breath you looked around the room once more, this time in search of a type of key or tool to unlock the cuffs, but any tool that you could have possibly used was far out of your reach. With a heavy sigh you rested your head back down, just now noticing how cold the metallic bed beneath you was.

A shiver ran down your spine as the cold material brushed against your skin. You closed your eyes and tried to remember how you had ended up here, what lead you to being in this position. The last thing you remembered you were at home, just arriving after work.

After searching your memories for what seemed to be minutes you came to the conclusion that someone must have kidnapped you. But who took you captive?. Why you?.

You were taken away from your thoughts when the sound of clacking heels and boots echoed through the lab followed by the hushed whispers you had heard before. When you turned your head to face the direction the voices were coming from you were met with two tall brunettes, one being male and the other female.

The two brunettes were clad in lab coats, the female wore a light blue dress shirt with black dress pants while the male wore a light brown dress shirt as well as black pants.

The two of them looked oddly familiar to you but you couldn't exactly put a name to them. 

The male and female scientists looked down to the tablets they held in their hands before glancing to each other then over to you, wicked grins tugging at their lips as their eyes met yours.

"Well look who's up." the male grinned and left the woman behind him, venturing over to your table "You've been asleep for quite a while." you gave him a questioning look as you searched his facial features "I'm not quite sure where I am. Or what happened. Or who either of you are."

The woman chuckled and stepped forward after placing the tablet on a desk "Well it would be rude if we didn't introduce ourselves to our guest wouldn't it?." the man nodded to his partner then turned to you.

"I am William Carver and this is my wife Lilly Carver."

Lilly smirked and grabbed a needle filled with the yellow substance that you had seen earlier. She took a step next to you and grabbed the top of your head, lulling it to the side so your neck could be exposed. She raised the needle to your neck and watched as a glint of fear appeared in your eyes.

"And you are our experiment."

She injected the mysterious substance into your neck, chuckling menacingly as she watched the fluid do its job.

Your body instantly became relaxed against your will and you could no longer move. You watched as Lilly and Carver stepped over to the first desk you had discovered, taking scalpels and drills from the desk as well as other chemicals and robotic parts before walking back over to you with grins plastered to their faces.

"Don't worry. You're only in a state of paralysis. . . .However you'll still feel everything."

You gave the wedded couple a disgusted and terrified look as they walked closer to you, ready to experiment.
