Doctor(MxR)

Sirens blared as ambulances drove towards the emergency room entrance where you stood awaiting the arrival of your injured patient.

As the ambulance pulled up you sped walked towards it with your interns right behind you.

As the paramedic opened the door of the ambulance he stepped out and read what was on the chart.

"Minerva Leigh, age twenty one, was found unconscious on the street after a hit and run, she's conscious now but her blood pressure and heart rate are low. She has two broken ribs, a fractured leg and a fractured spine"

You nodded your head before walking at the side of Minerva.

"Ms.Leigh I'm Doctor (L/n) can you see me?" you questioned as you flashed a light into both of her eyes making sure her pupils reacted.

She groaned but nodded her head "Y-yeah".

"Okay good, Stevens get her to diagnostics and treatment and make sure she's stable, once she's sable get me some x-rays and a CT scan to see if she might have any internal bleeding from the contact"

Stevens nodded her head before walking off towards the elevators to transport Minerva to her room.

As Stevens connected Minerva to the cables she began to ask about the accident.

"Ms.Leigh-" "Minerva please" she corrected.

Stevens nodded before continuing "Minerva do you remember everything that happened during the accident or before?"

Minerva let out a sigh and lightly nodded. She cleared her throat before replying "I was walking home from work and while I-I was crossing the street someone ran a read light but that's all I remember before I blacked out."

Stevens filled out her chart before turning back to Minerva. "Okay well we're going to run some tests and get some x-rays from you real quick. But before we do that we gotta get you into a CT because you hit your head rather hard and we'd like to make sure you don't have any internal bleeding or swelling of the brain."

Minerva nodded and Stevens took the 'breaks' off of the wheels to take Minerva to the CT room.

As Minerva was being re-transported to her room Doctor Stevens looked through the scans before turning to her intern that sat next to her.

"Page Doctor (L/n) now" she ordered.

It didn't take long for you to get to the CT room as you answered in a sprint due to the '911' being paged to you.

"You paged a '911' what happened?"

Stevens points to the scan before her then turns to you.

"Minerva has bleeding and swelling of the brain she need to go into surgery now"

"What about her x-rays? any internal bleeding there that we should be worried about?"

"No, her x-rays came out clean besides her broken bones,she need to get into surg-" Stevens was cut off when someone called out.
