[Takes place in season 3]
-After finding Aj Clementine realizes she needs to find more supplies. While looking for supplies she runs into a bit of trouble and someone swoops in to save the day~~~
There was nothing but silence filling the air as Clementine walked through the abandoned city, the silence was so quiet that Clementine could hear her heart pumping blood throughout her body. AJ lied in her arms fast asleep, his chest rising and falling with each short breath he took putting a small smile on Clementines face as she saw how relaxed he was.
Just by looking at the young boy Clementine knew she would do anything for him, even if it meant risking her life, she would do it if it meant he had a chance at survival. That's one of the reasons she wondered the empty streets of the deserted city, she was in desperate need for supplies to ensure that herself that Aj and her would survive.
Her eyes continuously shifted side to side with each step she took, each store and building she passed spiking hope in the young teen until it was torn away when she found no sign of supplies. However as she turned a corner that lead down another street she passed a store, this time her hope stayed, inches in front of her stood a store that held a large amount of supplies.
Clementine took a cautious step into the decrepit store, shattered glass crunching beneath her feet with every step she took. The lighting was dim and a smell of death lingered in the air, Clementine stood still and scanned the room thoroughly, with no sight of danger she progressed forward.
Clementine gently re-positioned Aj in her arms before carefully taking her bag off her back to place on the ground so she could fill it with as many supplies as she could. As she was grabbing boxes and bags a metallic shelf fell to the floor, a loud clanging sound echoed off the worn walls causing Aj to wake up in discomfort, his cries soon filled the store, bouncing off the walls and out of the shattered windows into the empty streets.
Clementine became panicked as she gently bounced Aj up and down in her arms, putting as much effort as she could to silence the young boy "Aj shh, it's okay." she softly stated, but it did nothing to sooth the boys cries, they only grew louder and louder.
"Aj please!. It's okay but you need to stop crying!" her endless pleas continued to flow out of her mouth until one moment..They seized, and it was all due to the numerous groans that were approaching the decrepit store.
Clementine cursed under her breath and quickly grabbed her bag as she continued to shush disturbed boy in her arms. Once she had everything in her grasps she made her way towards the front entrance hoping she would beat the walkers to it. But her hopes disappeared when she saw the walkers had already arrived there.
She audibly gasped and backed away before frantically scanning the store once again, this time in search of another exit. Clementines eye's landed on a half torn off sign that read 'exit' in all capitals, she let out a sigh of relief before quickly making her way to the back of the store.
"Okay Aj, I really need you to be quiet if we're gonna make it out of here alive" she spoke out, her movements becoming zigzags as she traveled in and out of different isles, her breaths uneven and her steps heavy. A small smile formed on her lips when she spotted the exit door just ahead, and just as she was going to come up to the door two walkers came in front of her.
"Shit!" she called out as she quickly halted her movements and turned around. She ran off towards the direction she came in, this time taking a turn into the old storage room. When she ran further into the room she saw a door that also had an 'exit' sign just above it, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her and pushed the door open with all her strength. But the door wouldn't budge.
