We walk out the restrooms with smiles plastered on our faces. Jack is the first one to notice me. I speed up my pace leaving Talia trailing behind.
Your single.
I slip in next to Jack, my body grows hot as Jack's hand slips across my back. We both move closer together our hips touching.
"Okay you lovebirds. Break it up." Talia places her fat ass in between us. Making us jump aside. I glare at Talia giving her a wtf?! look. She laughs and pick up her drink taking a long gulp.
I totally forgot about my order. I stare ahead at my drink in front of me. I take it in my hands letting the water wet my hands and a cool sensation run along my hands. A single droplet of condensation roll down my arm stopping at the bend of my elbow. I bring the beer glass to my lips.
I bite my lower lip. Take a breath. Calm myself. Count to three. My body's hot now. No time to think.

I press my lips to the glass slowly lifting up the end of the glass letting the drink pour down my throat.
This time I don't feel the pain. I don't get the tingly feeling in my stomach. But I get the bitterness, the scratchy feeling in my throat.
I put down the glass abruptly spilling a bit on the table and clear my throat.
"You okay?" Ally asks looking at me.
"Yeah," I stare at her sprite and look back at her. "Don't you drink?"
She shakes her head, "allergic." My mouth opens and I nod.
"Ohh," she takes a sip of her drink smiling. I look opposite her, at Conrad and my stomach twists.
He smirks at me. His dimples showing, he looks at me knowingly.
Your single.
I bite my lips my eyes trailing to his mouth. He looks away, his cheeks turning red. I let out a small chuckle.
---
After lunch we go back into the car. I'm the second to last to enter the car, my hand reaches for the handle when someone comes behind me, snaking his hands around my waist.
"Follow me," Conrad. I smile and slowly nod. He slips a hand into mine pulling me away. I look back at the car to see if anyone notices our disappearance and someone does.
Talia eyes meet mine and mouths go as he pulls me further away from the car.
He leads me behind the restaurant. Smashing my back into the wall and before I could even say anything his lips are on mine.
