Chapter: 14

When I was about to enter the bathroom, I bumped into someone.

Guess who it was?

Mr dickhead.

'Ever heard of knocking flasher?' Daniel said looking down at me.

'Eh, didn't feel like it,' I answered and shrugged.

I saw Daniel rolling his eyes at me before walking towards the stairs again.

I quickly brushed my teeth and grabbed all the stuff I needed and went back downstairs.

Simon and I were about to leave when Keri walked into the hall.

'Daniel! Simon and Jasmine are leaving, you should walk with them!' She screamed to Daniel.

'Sure mom! Wait a second, I'm coming!' Daniel said, way too kind again.

And why does he have to walk with us? I didn't agree to this.

But I guess we don't really have a choice.

As soon as we made our way out of the house, Daniel fastened his pace and walked further on his own.

'See you at school!' I said on a nice tone.

No response.

That was the last time I tried it.

Fuck him. He doesn't even deserve my attention.

Simon and I took a different turn, because I still had to grab my bag at my place.

A little later we arrived at the school and the day was about to begin..

The bell rang and it was time to go to my next lesson.

While I was walking through the hallway, I spotted a familiar face on the other side of the hall.

As we got closer to each other I saw him looking at me.

We locked our eyes. His eyes were very pretty and bright blue.

I thought he was coming my way, Daniel, and it almost looked like he was about to say something to me.

Was he about the greet me, at school? He would never-

That's when a very pretty girl walked over to him.

He looked confused.

When I passed him, we were still looking at each other, but he soon turned to the girl.

Guess I will never figure out what he was about to say..

School finished. I made my way home, did my homework, ate dinner with my parents today and actually left directly afterwards to go back to school.

It's detention time.

I jumped in my car and drove to the school.

The whole building was empty again, only the headmaster and some other teachers were in the building.

I actually didn't know our task for today yet, so I made my way to the principal office.

Daniel wasn't there yet, what didn't surprise me.

After waiting for 5 minutes, the headmaster came out of his office.

'Well, good evening Jasmine,' he said on the most flat tone ever.

'I don't see Daniel here, so if he doesn't show up, you need to do it all by yourself,' he added.

'Okay..' I said, not knowing how to react.

'I want you to scrape all the chewing gum from the tables in the canteen. It has to be done before eight 'o clock , because I need to walk my dog,' he said very serious.

'The materials you need are already in the canteen, good luck,'

And with that being said, he walked back into his office and closed the door.

I think I have to do this on my own. Daniel is such a jerk for not showing up..

I made my way to the canteen and at first couldn't find the cleaning supplies.

But I found them quickly when I looked around a bit.

The only things we got were a scraper, a bucket, gloves and a plastic bag.

I left Daniel his supplies where they were and walked over to the closest table.

While putting on my gloves I realized that I didn't brought my earphones.

God damn it.

Now I can't listen to music and I can't annoy Daniel, this is going to be so boring.

I crouched to the ground and tried to position myself.

There didn't even pass 5 minutes before my back started hurting already.

So I took a quick break to check my phone.

If Daniel is literally not going to show up, I'm gonna be so pissed.

With a lot of backache, I started to continue the task.

I mean, if I won't do it, no one will, so I have to.

I didn't even have the time to do something fun when I got home after school.

It was time for detention again.

Still mad about the fact that Jayden didn't got any consequences for hitting me.

I mean, detention is already a punishment, but when you have to do it with flasher, it is even worse.

I knew that I was already late, but I didn't even bother to fasten my pace.

I would rather not show up, but my mom would not appreciate that and I really don't want to be expelled on this school and get send to a boarding school.

I had to walk again but this time it wasn't Simon his fault, because his dad and my mom had the car, so I sadly couldn't blame him.

I already knew that Jasmine would be there on time, so I wasn't planning on going to the headmaster first, I decided to directly search for Jasmine, what shouldn't be that hard if she was singing such an awful song like yesterday.

I entered the school and started looking around to find Jasmine.

I checked some classrooms and the auditorium, but couldn't find her.
