Chapter: 18

After school, me and Corbyn were planning on going to Corbyn's house. We already arranged that while eating lunch.

I hopped into Corbyn's car and we drove to his house.

'So, are you already feeling a bit better?' Corbyn asked me while driving.

'I already told you, I'm doing just fine,' I responded.

'Simon told me you weren't feeling that well.'

'Alright, well, I'm just feeling and looking like shit, but I don't like it when people pity me,' I responded.

'I think you look drop dead gorgeous without make up,' Corbyn said and gave me a smile.

'Stop it,' I said while blushing a bit.

'I mean it though. I know that the rest of the guys think that too.'

'I don't think so..' I responded, not knowing what to say.

Corbyn just gave me a smile as he probably noticed that I was getting a bit shy.

I was just getting lost in my thoughts, when I suddenly realized that we drove past Corbyn's house.

'Corbyn you need to turn around, we drove past your house,' I said confused.

'I know that,' he responded with a little smile on his face.

'I'm confused,' I answered.

'Why study at my house, if we can study at the beach in the sun?' Corbyn said while looking at me with now a bigger smile.

'Oh my god, I freaking love the beach. That's a great idea Corbyn.'

'I know right.'

Shortly after, we arrived at the beach.

I grabbed my bag out of the car and Corbyn and I made our way to the beach.

I took my shoes off so I could feel the soft but also burning hot sand between my toes.

It was the perfect day to visit the beach. The sky was clear, the waves were crashing on the shore and the sun was not too hot.

Corbyn and I searched for a good spot and I sat down on my jacket in the sand.

'I wish I had brought my swimwear though,' I said as Corbyn and I both looked at the beautiful blue ocean that laid ahead of us.

'Me too.'

'Well, maybe another time,' I responded and grabbed my math book out of my bag.

'We're not here to swim. We're here to make me smart.'

'That's true,' Corbyn answered and grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil out of his bag.

The piece of paper almost flew away instantly, but Corbyn managed to prevent that from happening.

'Alright, let's start with exercise B..'

After a while, Corbyn and I couldn't resist the ocean any longer and decided to walk along the shore with our feet in the water.
