Chapter: 56

Out of nowhere, I felt his cold body pressed against me in a hug...

I hugged back, enjoying the cold cause he was right, I was about to melt and I overall just enjoyed the contact.

'I figured you could use some refreshing,' he said as we disconnected, what made me laugh.

'Thanks Corbs, I really appreciate it.'

'How is your wound? Does is still hurt?' Corbyn asked, now facing me.

'It's not hurting that bad anymore,' I said while looking at the bandage on my leg.

'I'm glad to hear that,' Corbyn said with a smile, what was so sweet again.

Corbyn stayed for a little while. We just talked and looked at the others jumping of a rock a little further away.

'Corbyn, you should definitely join the others again, we'll have plenty of other moments to talk.'

'I just don't wanna let you here alone and-'

That's when Daniel joined us and cut Corbyn off.

'I'll keep her company. I also think I'm a little sun burnt anyways, so gotta stay out of the sun. Corbyn you can go to them bro,' Daniel said.

'See, no need to worry about me,' I said to Corbyn and pushed him a little to get him up.

We exchanged a smile and he got up.

'Give me a scream if you need me!' he said on a loud tone while already making his way back to the others.

That left me and Daniel alone for a moment.

'You aren't really sunburnt, are you?' I said while looking at Daniel who didn't even have one slightly red color on his skin.

'Nopee, but,-'

He looked at me before reaching over to his bag to grab his sunscreen.

'-it wouldn't be a bad idea if you could put some sunscreen on for me,' he said confident.

I just laughed.

'Daniel, are you serious?' I looked at him in disbelief.

This guy..

'Ahuh,' he responded while already laying down on his stomach so I could put the sunscreen on his back.

'Okay give me the damn sunscreen,' I said on an annoyed sarcastic tone.

I didn't mind touching him for a good reason, and I think he enjoyed it too.

As Daniel laid down on the towel next to me, while looking up at me with the side of his face, our favorite person came intruding our moment...

'Well well, who do we have here?' a girl said what made both, me and daniel, look up.

'Shut the fuck up Lynn, no one likes you,' Daniel said bluntly and laid his head down again.
