Chapter: 66

We all looked at Zach who was next in the row...

'I had absolutely no clue,' he said with wide eyes.

'Oh no...-' he started with a worried look on his face.

'-I even made a move on you. I'm sorry,' he said, facing me. I could see he was feeling guilty.

'It's okay. You couldn't have known,' I responded nonchalant.

That's when we heard a loud noise coming through the speakers.

'GIVE IT UP FOR DJ LIAM!!!'

Everyone turned to the little stage where a guy had ran up and he was now standing behind the DJ table.

'Hey, that's the guy from the fair,' I said as I poked Daniel in his stomach with my elbow.

'Clown Liam,' Daniel responded with a disgusting face.

'I know him too,' Simon said as he looked at us.

'Yeah, we know. We were also at the fair when you were there with Dylan,' I answered nonchalantly.

'Who's Dylan?' Daniel asked confused.

'My boyfriend,' Simon responded even more confused that Daniel didn't know his name.

'I thought it was Brian,' Daniel said what caused us all to laugh.

DJ Liam had finally put on some slow music.

I didn't think I could dance with Daniel in public today, but I'm so glad I could.

I had wrapped my arms around Daniel's neck and his were resting on my hips.

'I'm so glad that our relationship is public right now,' Daniel said as he looked into my eyes.

'Me too,' I said dreamy as I looked into his bright blue eyes.

'Crazy how this all started with detention...' Daniel said what caused me to think about it.

I instantly started laughing a little.

'You and that stupid bubble gum of yours,' I responded.

'Jas, it was just fucking disgusting, let's please forget about that,' he said a little ashamed.

'Never.'

We both laughed and got back to dancing.

I laid my head on his shoulder and looked around at the other couples dancing.

I saw Jonah who was dancing with Mindy. They had finally went kinda public I think, just as us.

All those girls at the side who thought they had a chance with Jonah didn't look amused.

I also laid my eyes on Jack and Lynn.

Lynn had asked Corbyn of course, but he said no.

Jack had no one to dance with so he just offered Lynn to dance with him. So sweet of him.

I also noticed Zach and Corbyn sitting at the side, looking a bit sad.

Pov: Corbyn

'I love dances,' Zach said on a blunt tone as he looked at the people dancing.

'We can dance,' I joked but Zach actually took it seriously.

He grabbed my hand and almost dragged me onto the dance floor.

'Zach wait up,' I said as I laid my eyes on a girl also sitting on the side line.

'That's the girl from your Spanish class right? Yvana, was it?' I added to my sentence.

Zach didn't say anything but just stared at her.

'Go ask her to dance you fool,' I said as I gave him a little push towards her.

I walked back to my seat and looked how Zach was handeling the situation.

I patted myself on my shoulder as I saw them dancing into the crowd.

Fuck. Now I'm all alone here..

That's when I saw Jas making her way towards me.

'May I have this dance?' she asked as she kneeled to her knee and reached out her hand.

I laughed at her action.

I grabbed her hand and we walked onto the dancefloor.

'What about Daniel?' I asked as I looked around.

I didn't want to take his spot.

'Don't worry about him,' Jas said as she turned my head towards her.

Pov: Jasmine

The slow dance was over and I saw Daniel coming back from the toilet.

'For this one, gather your friends and loved ones and let's dance!' DJ Liam said enthusiastically through the microphone.

We all came together.

Mindy, Dylan and Yvana joined us and even though we all hated Lynn, she had nobody so we let her join and it wasn't that bad.

We all started dancing. I looked around the group to realize how much I loved these people. They let me be the best version of myself.

How people can change to being the ones you hate to the most, to the ones you love the most.

I've experienced so much with every single one of them and there is so much more to come. I know they'll always be by my side.

And with that in the back of my head, we all danced an incredible fun night away...
