Chapter: 53

Jas and I were in the middle of a conversation, when we suddenly heard a branch break behind us...

We both gasped and turned around. Jas grabbed my arm and squeezed it tightly.

That's when Jonah appeared behind a tree.

'Jesus fucking christ,' I said as I rolled my eyes, in relief.

'You scared the living shit outta me!' Jasmine added as she let go of my arm.

'Oh, my bad,' Jonah responded nonchalant and walked past us.

'Can you believe this guy?' Jasmine asked me, as we both watched him walk away.

I shook my head slightly no.

We started to walk again, but a little less fast now. We didn't want to walk into the cabin at the same time as Jonah.

We slowly came closer to the cabin.

I reached for the door knob and opened the door very slowly.

It went pretty great until I stepped with one food on the wooden floor. A loud crack was hearable throughout the whole cabin.

I stopped and bit my lip, looking around if it woke anyone up.

Luckily no one seemed to have heard the noice. Not even Jonah.

I let out a little sigh and walked a bit further.

Just as Jasmine wanted to step on the floor, I stopped her.

She stepped back and looked at me a little confused.

I came one step closer to her, and wrapped my arms around her lower waist. I lifted her up, over the cracky, noisy planks, and sat her down besides me.

'Thank you,' she mouthed silently.

She gave me a little kiss on my cheek.

I smiled and made my way to the bed.

I climbed onto the ladder and crawled under my sheets as soon as I had reached my bed.

I watched Jasmine as she laid down next to Corbyn, as slowly as possible.

I noticed that Corbyn was laying way further away than before. I still remember it cause it bothered me a bit, him laying so close to my girlfriend.

I didn't think too much of it and fell asleep pretty fast.

Pov: Jasmine

I woke up cause the boys were very noisy. They were talking loudly and cracking jokes in the morning.

I carefully opened my eyes and saw everyone sitting on their beds except for Corbyn and Zach.

'Look who's awake,' Jack said as he looked up from the book he was reading.

'Is it sleeping beauty?' Daniel asked, who had just entered the cabin.
