Chapter: 8

After I ate at Simon's, I went home and for once my parents were home. We watched some tv and after that we all went to bed.

I woke up by the most annoying sound in the world, my alarm.

I turned it off and accidentally fell asleep again.

Don't blame me alright. It happens to the best of us.

'Honey! Don't you have school?'

My mom stood in the opening of the door and looked at me.

'School?' I asked with closed eyes, half asleep.

'SCHOOL!' I screamed as I realized what my mom had said.

I got up and heard Simon honking before I even got dressed.

'JUST A MINUTE!' I screamed hanging out of my window to Simon.

'HURRY THE FUCK UP!'

I grumbled a little and grabbed my bag and a sweater.

'Wait, you're-' my mom said.

'Don't have time, see ya!' I cut her off and ran towards Simon's car.

I was in such a hurry that I didn't even see the guy that was sitting in the back.

'Jeez, Jasmine. Put on that sweater,' Simon said as I closed the door.

That's when I realized that I was in my bra in the car. And there was a guy in the back.

And I was in my bra.

And there was still a guy in the back.

'Omg I'm so sorry,' I responded and pulled my sweater over my head.

I've never been more embarrassed before.

I looked into the mirror and saw that the boy in the backseat didn't care one bit.

'Is that...?' I asked Simon, whispering.

'Yes,' he responded, absolutely not whispering.

For some reason he understood my question.
Guess that's a best friend thing.

'Nice..' I said while nodding my head awkwardly.

'Hi, I'm Jasmine,' I said as I turned around in my chair.

'Daniel,' he responded bluntly.

He looked at me for a second and then turned his head back towards the window.

'Nice bra,' he said out of nowhere.

I looked at him with wide eyes.

'Thanks, I guess,' I responded awkwardly as I turned back to the front.

Simon let out a little laugh. I gave him a strict look what caused him to stop immediately.

The rest of the ride was silent. At this point I didn't even care about the awkward situation that had happened before, I was just kinda frustrated by how rude this Daniel guy was.

We arrived at school and parked the car.

Daniel got out of the car without saying a word.

'Thanks for the ride,' I said, pretending to be Daniel after he closed the door.

'I know, he's rude. I have to live together in one house with that dick,' Simon said.

'You can move to my house now,' I responded and laughed a little.
