Chapter: 52

As I reached for the door knob, I heard one of the boys..

I turn around in a spin and saw Jonah moving around.

He turned to the other side and Daniel and I didn't move an inch.

We stood there and waited for him to fall back asleep, what luckily happened quite soon.

We then snuck out of the cabin.

We walked a bit further away so we could talk normally without worrying someone would hear us.

'That was close,' Daniel said a little excited.

I was pretty excited myself, cause we nailed this.

'I'm so happy it worked,' I answered and wrapped my arms tightly our his waist.

'Me too,' he said peaceful as he embraced me.

'Let's go to the campfire. Everyone is probably gone by now,' Daniel added and grabbed my hand.

'Isn't that a little risky?' I asked him as I pulled his arm back, hoping he would stop walking.

'Nooo, we'll be fine,' Daniel answered and walked further, dragging me with him.

'Wait wait. I have to go to the toilet first,' I said what made him stop.

'Alright, then let's go this way,' Daniel answered and walked with me to the toilet building, not letting go of my hand.

I quickly went to the toilet while Daniel waited for me outside.

When I was done, I walked besides Daniel, who then wrapped one arms around me.

We were just talking about some stuff on the way to the main building.

As we were about to walk around the corner, Daniel stopped me.

I looked at him with a confused look but then heard some voices.

I slowly took a peek around the corner.

'It's fucking Jonah,' I said to Daniel with wide eyes.

'I thought he was asleep?' Daniel answered confused.

That's when Daniel took a look.

'And he's together with a girl?' Daniel added, even more confused.

That's when I stuck my head around the corner.

'It's that girl from the library, when we had detention. Wait it's uh...'

'Mindy!' Daniel finished.

'Yes!' I answered immediately.

'I'd never expect him to fall for that kind of girl?' Daniel said quietly.

'Makes sense though. They're both part of the book club,' I shrugged.

'Let's confront them,' Daniel said.
