Did I just fuck up everything we had?

'Why am I not surprise?' Daniel responded.

'Wait what-'

'You're not mad at me?' I asked confused.

'Well... I saw this coming Jas..' He started.

I still looked at him confused, but the soft look on his face did calm me a bit.

'You and Corbyn have been super close since I know you and I've been doubting about why you would choose me over him anyways, he treats you so well..' he said now realizing that he could possibly lose me.

'Daniel-' I said.

'He definitely is going to treat you as a princess, no doubts,' Daniel said while trying to not let his voice break.

'It didn't mean anything..' I quickly said.

'I kissed him cause I felt a tension between us,'

'I didn't feel the spark that I feel when I kiss you Daniel,' I said and looked right into his eyes.

Without waiting for any more seconds I put my hand on the side of Daniel his face and pressed my lips against his.

'Yes.. I'm quite sure that I want us to be together, or whatever,' I now said nonchalantly when we disconnected, referring to the conversation that we had the day before.

'I love you Dani,' I said.

We locked our eyes.

I quickly pecked his lips before he wrapped his arms around me and squeezed me in a hug.

I'm such a lucky girl, I really am..

'Godd I'm so happy, I thought I lost you there for a second,' Daniel said relieved while sitting back on the bench now.

We just sat there in a peaceful silence.

'But I'm the better kisser right?' Daniel asked while burning his eyes in my back because I was looking the other way.

It was silent for a moment again.

'It is getting late already Daniel, you should really get those muscles warm!!' I said while getting up and trying to get him up as well, not wanting to respond to his question.

He just laughed at my reaction and got up.

That's when we saw some kids from our class making their way towards the fields as well.

'See, we're not the only ones who try to warm up a little!' I said while patting Daniel his chest.

'Jas.. they are still in their pyjama's...'
